Ah finally our long national nightmare is over. Mine finally shows shipped. Actually it shows shipped yesterday arriving tomorrow.

Im still stuck in nashville but mines being delivered 20 miles away or so. I figure they will move last.

Mine was stuck in Alaska for five days. The next update was that it had left Louisville today.

Seems like UPS is just having trouble updating tracking information. Probably doesn't help when maniacs like myself check the information all the time...

how do u know what flight its on?

Tracking updated about 20 minutes before that flight took off for DFW... It seems logical. I could be very wrong but its the only flight to Dallas from louisville in the time frame.

And it is just and educated guess... But I feel pretty confident i will see tracking update sometime between 6 and 7 my time when the plane lands at DFW and is unloaded.

UPS says that my iPad left KY at 5:56pm. I'm guessing that it's on the plane right now to Syracuse. This movement makes me very excited!

Apparently, mine is drawing a circle around Cincinnati.

Picked up 3/9 10:05am Middletown, PA

Departed Fed Ex location 3/15 3:28pm Indianapolis, IN

Left Fed Ex Origin Facility 3/15 4:30pm Harrisburg, PA

At destination sort facility 3/15 5:58pm Erlanger, KY

I mean, that is just weird..PA to IN to PA to KY?

I honestly don't care where it goes as long as it gets delivered tomorrow ;)

Still, strange.

I've gotten being held at the local FedEx. The employee said "people have been coming in all day to hold these."

Heh, people said the same thing for the iPhone 4 preorders... then a ton of people (including me) got them a day early.

There's an explanation behind this that I've brought up each time - Apple sent emails stating that they were releasing them early. So no, that wasn't because you got lucky, it's because Apple said they were doing so.

That's great... Just means there will be less for the drivers to deliver, which = faster to my door :)

mine is still there even though several other people are posting that theirs left Louisville this afternoon! grrrrrrrrrrrrr  lol

Mine left Louisvile around 3ish today - but it was apparently MIA for me all week. I didn't even know t had been there. (Louisville isn't too far away - I'm in the South) Hope it has moved!

Mine arrived in Columbus, OH, at the sorting facility about 15 minutes ago. Just an hour away. Tomorrow is going to suck at work, waiting to get out and go home to my new toy.

Parts of Washington are considered east coast packages at FedEx. Some parts of Arizona are like that too. It's going to Memphis then Washington.

Really? that's weird. I'm on the Westcoast and the package was already on westcoast but instead of coming to Washington go down south.
