The New iPad Pre-Order Status Thread (USA) - All Models

Whew - finally got mine! 64GB WiFi Black. I got a new smart cover, I'm still not clear on if the old smart covers work on the new model.

I got all the way to the processing screen, where it hung up forever, and eventually returned an error. But a few minutes later I got the email confirmation and my bank account shows as debited.
 
Finally made it through on the web store. (App wouldn't check out, and then stopped letting me access the shopping cart.) Black 16 GB for delivery on the 16th!
 
Website said I ordered 2 iPads and 2 smart covers. When I changed it to 1, store pick up disappeared. So...I can pick up 2 in store, but not 1?

Emptied my cart so I wouldn't get charged for 2 and the site crashed!:mad::mad::mad:
 
Well, I ordered a 32gb wi-fi model over the phone. But, I wasn't sure if I wanted a LTE version. So, I just ordered a Black 32GB LTE version (AT&T) on the apple store. when they get here, I will decide which one I want and return the other.

No confirmation email yet but I completed my order. Black 64gb wifi with black smart cover, and an apple tv as well. Use the web site, the 30 minute wait on the phone is a joke

Took forever to checkout... but got my preorder in! Would have been a lot easier if all you guys laid off the servers. I kid I kid... :p ;)
 
Finally placed my order. That was a pain. For what its worth, the site didn't load well for me in Chrome or Safari, but when I tried Firefox, it loaded everything very quickly.
 
Just got it.....

64 GB white, WiFi at 3:03 CST. Had to make several re-tries since 2:50 p.m., but this was one of the easier orders I've done. If figured it'd be a zoo with it being in the middle of the day here through most of the U.S.
 
Finally got my order in using Firefox. Safari was still stuck a few steps behind. Glad I got through! No email yet but everything seemed to go through ok.
 
My wife is on the line with a rep. She was about to order mine when a rep answered for me. I told her I had to order because I'm using my Apple Card and I told my rep that I had to do this over the phone because I haven't received my card in the mail. Then he tells me to call back in about 2 hours and that he can't do the sale... yet the rep with my wife is putting the order through.

Bah!
 
so weird, tried on firefox for 2 hours.. first try on explorer and i ordered one...
 
Order's in. Waiting on email confirmation.

Shows under my order history in the Store, though... so here's hoping all turns out well.
 
My AMEX is showing a $673 pending charge but the website still says "processing." Looks like the site crashed again because I can't get in with another browser.
