The New iPad Screen Brightness?

Hi,

So I bought the New iPad White 64GB and for some reason i'm very disappointed with the Brightness. It feels like my White iPad 2 was a LOT brighter. I'm I the only one? TY

Coming from an iPad 2, my new iPad is definitely a lot dimmer and brightness needs to be turned up a lot.

Maybe I have a defaulted iPad??

@ 30 - 40% Brightness on my iPad 2 its Much Brighter than my iPad 3 @ 50%

noticed this too... but I think it's the color saturation that makes it seem "dimmer" I had it on 60% this morning while watching House of Lies and it looked better than I remember and I usually had my iPad 2 from 80-100% when watching videos.

But when surfing web pages I feel like 60% is a bit dim and push it to 70%

Hmmm... I am starting to think that my assumptions might not be that off. Thanks for posting this.

It's not bright at half but putting it to full brightness is sore on the eyes.
