The new iPhone color.

I was in an Apple store yesterday for the first time since they announced the 6s, as there isn't one close to me (at least an hour and a half out.) Anyway, I wanted to see the color in person. I don't hate it, but it definitely looks pink to me. With that being said I like it way more than the original gold. Also, go with whatever color you like the best. It doesn't matter if you're a guy, girl, gay, straight, whatever. Just get the color that you like.

I personally wish Apple would have added another black bezeled option instead. Ideally black on black would probably be my go to, but I guess Space Grey is the best we'll get. I think a navy color could be good. I have a White/Silver 6 Plus and while I do love the color I think I'm learning I really just prefer a black bezel. I went Original > Black 3gs > Black 4 > White 4s > Black 5 > White 6 Plus and I think I'm just learning black bezel is more practical.

I too would like a blue option. I think something close to Subaru world rally blue would look good. I would want a black front or blue front as I do not care for the white bezel.

Do you think people are purposely convincing themselves that it looks more copper than it is pink to justify that the color is manly enough? If you like the color ,buy it, who really cares if you have a pink-like iphone

No.

There's surprisingly wide variability in the way people see subtle color differences. Personally I see "Rose Gold" as pink and I hate it, but I wouldn't be quick to say that someone who sees copper is just lying to themselves.

See it in person first. It can look very salmony pink sometimes. Don't rely on just pictures.

^ This. If I was able to see the RG color in person before preorder day, I never would have ordered it. I can see how some people would like it whether male or female, though. But it definitely wasn't for me, so I returned my RG 6S Plus the next day after I got it.

It's a nice colour. The antenna breaks show up awfully on it though.
Pink and especially when paired with white is a female colourscheme in my humble opinion, so if you're male and trying to convince yourself that it's a copper colour then the clue's in the name - rose gold.

I'm with you all the this. I would absolutely love to see a Blue iPhone 7 as an option next year.

If this does happen, though. Get ready for all the "Woman with the Blue iPhone" threads, lol.

It isn't pink. I honestly do not see it. It is slightly on the coppery/coral side. But it's not pink. I've tried holding my phone in various types of lighting but it still looks coppery coral to me. Beautiful color but not pink. I'd wish Apple would come out with straight up pink phone.

It's not my favorite, but I'm a straight guy and typically love pink. Get what you like; others can deal.

Yep the black black bezel is most important to me as my Sedio Surface case hides the color anyway. I am kinda into the grey or black phones. It is great Apple give us choices.

It depends on the lighting but most of the time it does not look pink. I have a rose gold 6S plus.

I'm a guy, and the only thing that stopped me from getting it was that the color wouldn't have looked right, in conjunction with the case I had already ordered. Still, came this close to buying anyways.
