What's up with that?
I much prefer the bezel on Brownlee's video

If the latest leak is fake, that's like the nicest hoax ever
Working TouchID would be difficult to fake.
it could just be a working home button that when you press it, it unlocks.
Seems like a lot of trouble to go through 3 days away from the keynote
That's the thing, the leaks haven't been coming out just this week. Marques Brownlee got his hands on a dummy iPhone 6 video back in May, which exactly looks like the supposed leaked iPhone 6 we are seeing now.

This one is quite different. How? Working screen. Proper home screen layout (not the 5 layout stretched to fit). New passbook icon. Proof of App Store and touch id. No other leak had any of that. And for the last two, they can't do that stuff on Android
Care to point out what about it suggests a fake? Nothing is pointed out in the main news post. Seems to have a fake box but the phone itself is solid.go through the main news post on this story and you'll see that this is fake.

Fake box, old iOS 7 icon design (gradients on mail, safari and App Store icons are much more subtle in iOS 7.1 and 8), Touch ID material seems different as it doesn't reflect light like glass should etc etc

Without a screenshot the gradients are meaningless. They will always be distorted when taking photographs of a phone, especially in a dark room. Try it yourself with 7.1.
I admit the Touch ID looks like different material but the leaked part is meaningless as it could very well be fake as well. Is it inconceivable that Apple could have used a different material on an updated sensor? Or that it could be covered with grease and thumbprints which would lend it that exact texture you see? Again, try it yourself. Grease it up and repeatedly touch the sensor and see if it doesn't get the texture in the pics.
Sorry not to blindly defend some random Chinese dude I don't know but the only point of yours that seems at all believable is about Touch ID and there are at least two possible reasonable explanations for it. Etc etc doesn't say much.

The gradients are obviously more pronaunced on the bigger phone, and no amount of dark exterior and optical illusions would make them look like that.
Phones are photographed from the same angle here.

The iPhone 6 is just on full brightness and the 5s not - problem solved. Also the iPhone 6 is in center of the picture.
Why does the music App icon have reversed gradients then?
Because Apple obviously changed it in the latest betas we haven't seen. Christ, if it was running beta 4/5 with the new Control Center people would shout "fake," even if Tim Cook was using it. The overwhelming software evidence confirms this is the real deal, or they somehow got a new iOS build on a fake phone, which is impossible. You are all going to look so pathetically frazzled on Tuesday.
