The new iPhone leak doesn't match Brownlee's sapphire display?

So this iPhone 6, runs iOS 8 (with build number older than iOS 8 beta 5), with iOS 7 BETA design, except for the music app, which uses a new yet to be seen design please.

I don't really care that much whether this is real or not, but this just seems to be fishy. Not only do things I mentioned look wrong, but there are professional leakers on twitter claiming this is fake, the box looks so fake it's not even funny lol etc

You know what, you're right about the lighting not mattering. I looked at the attached pic and the gradients are different in a way that lighting or camera couldn't affect.

But look at it from this perspective. Any fake home screens would have originated with a real one then photoshopped. Nobody is going to go and make their own icons, at least I don't think so. And we know it's not just a static image, that this person has something resembling iOS running on the device based on the videos. A very very smooth version of iOS much more slick than any Android skin yet released.

Apple has been known to make icon changes throughout the various test builds of iOS and OS X. And it's possible the iPhone 6 has a new screen that changes the way the icons appear (eg. more brightness on the light parts of the gradient).

You've got me thinking about reasons why this could be fake for sure, but it's way way too slick to be an Android fake, you've gotta say..

I agree this doesn't seem to be just an ordinary Android fake, but there are some issues with it so I can't say this is the real deal.
Anyways, only a couple more days...

If the new iPhone has the same bezel space then I'm out. As much as I like the iPhone, I have been seeing different phones with way less bezel and more screen.

I think it's an early prototype or something. Also, Apple is known to add things in early beta software that give away it's a beta. Reversing the gradient could be such a trick.
