I got the clear case from apple. Bought the Magsafe charger too but it takes forever to charge the phone. Quick question. Which one is faster magsafe charging or the traditional cord one?
You have to use the 20W charger to maximize magsafe charing.
Fastest charging is with cable using USB-C and USB-PD charger.

Not if you buy the belkin 2-1 or 3-1 MagSafe charger, adapter is included in the box. 😁 also doesn’t leave marks on your cases thanks to apple crappy exposed steel on their MagSafe charger. 🤦‍♂️

The more and more I look at my phone, Sierra blue just reminds me of the late nineties vibe with adidas with the three line, baby blue if anyone knows what I’m talking about…

either way, it’s nice.

still woulda liked autumn orange/burnt orange…

I’m curious what next year’s premier color will be! Although I have no issues keeping SB!

orange would be nice! See the color of my car in my profile…it’s called sakhir orange…

I wish they would bring Product Red to the Pro and Pro Max models.

i can't decide which case i want to use on my Sierra Blue 13PM or if i want to go naked lol here are my choices.

I go naked day-to-day with a screen protector, so I can plop it around screen down without worrying (I have a desk job + it’s only 3 days in the office so it’s not getting a lot of tossing around). When I go hiking, running, on trips—I stick it in a leather case just in case.
Used my X naked for 4 years and the only damage was a few hairline scratches on the front (which is why I use a screen protector now).

Just got back from the Apple Store, it's the FIRST time I've seen Sierra Blue in person and wow...it really is much more awesome in person!

I had Pacific Blue (I originally bought Graphite last Nov. swapped it for pacBlue 13 days later after that color grew on me) This year - back to Graphite and thats cool....but I had NO idea what SB color really looked like, until today. It's just nice!!

Yes sir! I thought graphite was the best color this year based on apple’s promo pics of SB. I was wrong! I can see myself holding onto this phone for a couple of years! Sending my graphite back to apple tomorrow!

Nice! Seriously, I am missing the pre-pandemic days of a filled up theater keynote...then the real world photos of the devices on display by MacRumors, others websites. Far better sense of the colors compared to what we see in the pre-recorded keynotes, bad, off color promo pics. Its not perfect, just a better sense.

Better yet..if Apple still wants to do this fancy video style keynote come next Sept., maybe get non-functional, hollowed out dummy units with the actual colors in stores right after the keynotes so we can possibly see what these colors truly look like. Just an idea. (The SB color did nothing for me in the PRE-pre order videos, pics...but yep I was wrong.)

I felt the same way and made the switch. I totally wrote off the color going off the website photos. I had issues with both my launch day and another Graphite which have since been returned. I was able to reserve a Sierra Blue PM this past Friday and rolled the dice never actually seeing one in person. After opening it up this thing looks awesome. It’s a nice change from Graphite which I had last year and initially for the 13 PM.

I like Sierra blue so much I went ahead and got a clear case for it. I never clear case my iPhones. Usually a solid spigen color. I did get a black spigen case for my 13PM that I started using Sep 24 but currently using a clear case from Amazon. This Sierra blue is beautiful.

Good point! Having demo/dummy models in stores before pre-order begins would help!
If I decide to upgrade to 14, I’ll probably wait until I can see in stores first … I can forgo the launch day excitement

Really looking forward to getting my new phone. I hesitated on upgrading this year as I didn't feel the need to, but I finally decided since I am on iUP anyway might as well. Now I have to wait a month!

Yes. 4-5 week for me as well. Usually does it arrive the beginning of the estimate or later?

Reviving this thread as (how time flies) all these months later, we are now reaching the end of the 13 Pro’s time as Apples flagship phone.

I still love my Sierra Blue phone and have not gotten bored of it at not once yet. The icy blue tones that no one had predicted or rumoured really do look great and is a clear differentiator from the other exclusive Pro colours of darker shades, including the recent Alpine Green. Sierra really is such a treat to look at.

I’ve always loved blue but yeah Sierra Blue is one of my favourite things about my 13 Pro, when its almost without a doubt about to be discontinued for whatever new exclusive colour Apple comes up with for the Pro (purple?), I’m all the more happier to hang on to this phone.
