My wants are simple ones...

Flash...

games that are resident...

An ereader, any ereader that's out there.
I want the ability to load the reader of my choice. I already use ereader.com for my one stop shop for all
ebooks. I want the ability to read what I already have.

Wifi access to iTunes from the touch.

More features on Safari. I mean really, how vanilla
can you get!

Needed to add...
please hurry up and bring movies and TV content
to New Zealand, as well as the iPhone. I'm tired
of waiting.

There are a few more that others mentioned, but these
are my top requests.

doesnt anybody think that 1.1.4 might be released with only a couple of features and that they might charge for other BETTER apps.
that is basically what happened with 1.1.3 and the january software upgrade.

Could To!!!

The iPod touch cannot:
Video Record
Send MMS
Voice Dial
SMS To Multiple Recipients (which 1.1.3 can do already anyway)

Sure it could record video if apple came out with a new add on, but it definitly could record from the av cables connected to the video out on a tv. It could send MMS/SMS to multiple recipaints from the email with a firmware update (obviously with wifi). Also, it may even be possble to hook up a headset to the headphone jack and call using voice dialing.

None of that seems realistic to me.

None? Really? Because you can already SMS via email. They managed to make the older iPods record sound with an add-on. Why couldn't they make an add-on to record audio for the Touch and then let it work with a VoIP app? Why stop there? The old iPods could record audio and play audio, now they could make the iPods that play video record video.

Trust me- it's coming. Maybe tomorrow, maybe in a month, heck, maybe a year, but it is coming.
