Extra battery life would be good on future iPhones but I'm happy with my 6S as it can get over 2 days without going near a charger, what is it that Sony boast about... 2 day battery life and their devices have around 3000mAh rated batteries! So my 6S isn't doing too bad with it's 1715mAH battery. Just shows you how good the tech is inside the iPhone compared to power hungry Android! :D

I don't know if you are high...6S won't be able to last two days.

You must not be a power user. There is no way in the world I can get 2 days out of my 6S. I actually use my device for work, so I am getting around 50-100 emails pushed daily to the phone. Plus any forum searching, and surfing the web. I am lucky to get a day out of mine.

No I'm not a heavy user especially at the moment as I'm off work so all my web surfing etc is getting done on the laptop. I don't have many apps installed either.

I think most people who haven t put their hands on android aren t appreciating one thing - consistency. With android you never know what process would stuck and drain your battery like crazy with wakelocks. It can occur on iphone too but those are few cases. On android it was part of regular life.

Seems obvious that at this point in time, battery technology has not solved the problem of longer usage. thats why Apple spends all this money on low power components.

Better battery life would be good.

I wonder if Apple has a team that is dedicated to battery performance?

Of course they have. They plan to release an electric vehicle right? So they better be having a team dedicated to battery performance :).

Once they figure it out for the car you will also get a better battery life for the other devices.;).

Buying a new car every year because iOS performance upgrades cripples it? No, this is where I draw the line.
