That's my point, no matter how much I've decided that [insert hi tech gadget] is enough for my needs, when that gets updates, I'm generally tempted to jump on that version, given the new wizz-bang features :)

When I purchase my computers and phones, I go with the idea that it will last me a long time. Needless to say when the newest latest thing hits the streets, I'm usually in line for a new one.

The iPhone 4g is the exception, based on what I've seen from gizmodo and working with the beta, i'm a little underwhelmed and I'll not be getting the latest iPhone

It's looking like the iPhone 4G is going to be the most substantial upgrade yet.

It needs to be. The 3Gs was not much of an update, unless you count the compass app as a killer app

Apple was kind of sitting on its laurels with the 3Gs update. Yeah a slightly better camera with video and the compass app, but people were clamoring for a better screen.

Now that apple has some serious competition with android, they better provide the consumers with something that leap frogs the existing desire/evo/incredible models out there now.

Edit:
I also thing their (apple's) update cycle needs to shorten. We've seen 3 major updates from google, within a year, yet apple has only one upgrade in that time. They need to provide some better turn around or they'll be playing catch up in no time

I used to divide by 6.
Anyway, that's the exact same contract at Telia I'm getting.
Though, I thought the only options were 1GB & 10GB with Telia Flex.

Yeah 6 is better. I think that the iPhone has a special contract (example: iOn) and if I didn't write that I wanted 1GB of data, then that's what I meant :p You'll never use 10GB/month unless you download movies, and you can't do that in Denmark on the iPhone (at least not yet). And if I were to download movies it'd be on a Wi-Fi connection to get higher speed, so in my point of view 10GB is way too much. 1GB is fine to check facebook, check mail, surf the web, youtube, etc. without worrying about your bill.

Few days after WWDC I'll go down to the local Telia store and ask if I can get an upgrade, and how much it'd cost me. I sure as hell hope that it won't use micro-sims.

I do need 10GB here in Denmark.
I'm watching TV on the device through apps and then Eye TV - that eats up the GBs, so less than 10GB is not gonna cut it.
