The OCD label is pretty ironic...

I think the OCD label as a negative trait is pretty ironic because Steve Jobs was probably the king of OCD. It's what made him great. I didn't know him personally of course, but from everything I have read he seemed a bit of a whack Job. I greatly admired him : ).

Demanding more and expecting more, is better than settling and expecting less. Thats like when people said "At least Windows 7 is better than Vista."

Are these only posts on this forum from now on going to be people complaining about their ipad, or people talking about those complaining about their ipad?

Having the negative qualities of someone who was brilliant does not somehow make you brilliant by proxy.

If you're suggesting that all the "OCD" complainers are future Steve Jobs or are somehow brilliant by returning several iPads, no sale.

I'm currently reading his book and Steve was indeed brilliant but also nearly impossible to live or work with at times. My first wife was the same way. We're divorced. ;)

Gotta love the jab at Windows 7 (which BTW is Microsoft's fastest-selling OS of all time...)

Ha, ha. No not at all. It also could be argued that Steve Jobs was bit of a compulsive liar and that is definitely not a formula for success.

Being OCD is a label that is pretty mainstream right now and is very akin to perfectionism. Striving for perfection is very much in the spirit of Apple and Steve Jobs.

Anyone who has returned more than 2 new iPad 3's have a terrible case of OCD.

    Plain and simple.

Sounds about as brave, cool, and commendable as self-diagnosed Aspergers. The Geniuses at the Apple Store still roll their eyes and exchange horror stories about repeat exchangers after those customers leave the store.

That is not even close to what true OCD is. Steve might have been a perfectionist, but he did not have OCD.

Yep. It would be helpful to understand what it is before throwing out a claim about it.

Since you're going to Uranus soon, I think you need to build a rocket.
