But we have!! Cylons are on that Earth. If they can reproduce a human/Cylon they can surely reproduce a Viper.;)

No, according to the story we have so far, the last five thirteenth-tribe Cylons fled Earth two thousand years ago after resurrecting in a hub they themselves invented for their own use to survive a coming cataclysm. They were the first and the last Cylons to resurrect on Earth, and then they left. They recreated the technology when they arrived back at the Colonies.

Thus the only time resurrection technology was ever available at Earth, so far as we know, was two thousand years ago. From that time until the arrival of the fleet, there was also (presumably) not a single intelligent creature on the planet, apart from Starbuck crashing and dying there.

However it happens, there's still a very big backstory element we're missing here.

Starbuck is not #7. Her father is. And I'm guessing her father is the paino player.

If that was Starbucks father then wouldn't she have recognized him?

My thoughts are that the image was 'Daniel' but it was Starbuck as her former self, I.E. before she was changed by Cabal (Kavil?). Like how Baltar imagines a 6, except in this case Starbuck is imagining her former (male) self.

Bingo! Starbuck is Daniel. And everyone is a cylon. :)

Didn't Baltar test Adama before and proved he wasn't a cylon, or was it Ellen? It's been a while since i saw those earlier episodes :)
Baltar's test was based on the damage the "New" Cylons' cells suffer under a specific type of radiation, that encountered in the nebula the fleet entered in the miniseries to re-arm. However, neither Tigh nor Tyrol suffered any adverse effects whilst the fleet was in there, so even if Ellen did pass Baltar's test it's likely that the Earth Cylons just don't suffer the same cell damage.

Of course, it could be that Ellen was simply tested after Baltar broke the machine to avoid being pummelled to death by Boomer ;)

Well if it was Ellen, there may be a problem with the test there, nes pa? :)

There's an interesting question in itself. Why were the new cylons affected but the old ones (final five) weren't?

Baltar tested Ellen, but swore he would never tell anyone what the results were. Then he spun around in his chair in the arms of his imaginary girlfriend.

Know th ep # by chance? Just curious to see for myself. The writer's must have found this little loophole when trying to figure out who the last Cylon was.:D

Wow, I missed a lot of interesting discussions since last week's episode! :D

I just hope they give us closure in the last 3 episodes that doesn't come rushed or anything. It does seem that they are really trying to tie up the entire story a little fast in the few episodes.

I remember an interview with Sahkoff (Starbuck) and she said there will be closure and that the end will not please everybody, but there will be closure.

I just pray it is not a lame end for a wonderful kick@$$ show.

I'm not sure if this has turned into something playable yet, but it might be worth a download by now.

I did give that a run a while back, very cool looking, but frustrating as heck to try to get a shot in :p

The team that split from them seems to have a nice vision, and have nice screen shots and videos, but nothing to play yet. I don't have the link anymore.

Plus the introduction to the show mentioned nothing about Cylons. A first for this show.

Actually, a second.

The 12th model for sure, although not necessarily the final.

The crawl at the beginning pretty much gave that much away, instead of the normal, 12 Cylon models, X of which are known, Y will be revealed. Simply the number of survivors, Searching for a home.

I posted this after the second episode in January.

(I doubt my wife has any interest, never seen the show or cared for it).

That's too bad - my wife loves it, my brother and his wife are hooked and I have a lot of friends who watch it together with their spouses religiously as well. Might be time for a new wife! ;) :D

I recommend against a Six. They just steal your kid, play you out, and then frack Cylon style with your friends. :p

Ha!!! I'm partial to the 8s :D

My buddy and his wife both watch it, and I am trying to convince him to come over for a series finale dinner at our place. That way the big screen and kick @$$ sound would make it a joy to watch with other people who enjoy it.

Oh, and it would be on my birthday! :D

I also just discovered this hilarious site : Frakking Toasters

I am sure someone has already mentioned it.
