It's probably about $1300. My mother helped me out a bit, because back then the entry level Powerbook was what? 1599?

I would go up to CompUSA constantly to use the macs they had. I got to know the mac guy up there, who is ironically named Steve. I felt bad that I didn't buy from them since I had spent so much time up there, but ultimately I wanted the 80 GB HD, so I had to go to Apple for that.

i'm gonna get the 20 inch g5, bluetooth, 512 memory(will buy another gig once i get it), 250gig hd.

i'm a camp counsler and i make just over a grand having 10 kids who 8 of them don't listen to a word i say. (Nor do my co- counsler/CIT's. ) And one of the kids is the owner son who is a handful.... 😱 😡

Hey -- I went to that camp when I was 13! It was like 8 weeks of "Lord of the Flies" -- but nobody killed Piggy. 😀
