plasticparadox said:Oh man, can't stop checking the Order Status page. My 15" PowerBook hasn't shipped yet, but it changed from 'Manufacturing' to 'Preparing to Ship' sometime between yesterday and this morning.
I got the gig of RAM (1 stick, so I can upgrade to 2 later), 100 gigs @ 7200rpm HD (so I can fry eggs on this thing 😀), and SuperDrive. Can't wait to compare it to my current iBook setup!
Waiting is so hard..

BTW, hopefully someone can answer my question without having to create a new thread:
Are there any accessory sets out there that offer plugs for the different ports on the PBs? The DVI, USB, FireWire, etc.? Those things tend to collect dust.
tekmoe said:received my 17" this morning. one dead pixel. heh
no biggie, i think i can live with it.
macstatic said:How do you check to see if there are any dead pixels? If you did mind, would Apple replace it with another new Powerbook?
Exactly what I was looking for...though pricey.Chundles said:Have a look at Radtech "Portectorz" They're new and from what I can see are a silicone port covering thingamabob.
