No it's just what I might get this year. Yeh I got an Xbox 360 last year.😀

Tivo!

I got my big gift of a 40 hr Tivo box early so i could set it up. Of course I have hit one snag... my tivo remote does not work iwth my tv! I have a strange brand flat screen tv (a hisense 24 tv). So I can't turn my TV on or off with the tivo remote or change the volume. I searched google to get codes but none worked. If anyone has some help I would love it (tried the code search, but nothing worked) 🙁 I now have to decide to use two remotes or pick up a brand name tv and sell my current one.

Try using the setting for a Daewoo or a Samsung. there is a forum called remote control central i believe, any and all about remotes is there, that site helped a ton when i was setting up my Sony RM-AV3000. do a google search for it.

Thanks... I'll have to check it out... the problem is rather annoying as you probably know.
 
i really wasn't expecting much for christmas this year, but a few weeks ago my parents told me they were going to get me a digital slr (d50) so i'm very, very happy. a friend of mine also got me call of duty 2, but he gave it to me at the end of last week at school so i've been playing it already 😱😀. i also *think* i'm getting a $15 target gift card, because i've gotten one of those every christmas for...at least 6 years.
 
My stepmother accidentally blurted out that she got me a CD, All American Rejects. Not to fond of them and I will probably return it for Wolf Parade or The Constantines.

Basically there are a few presents that I have no idea what they are but the rest is usually come from a combined shopping trips that my dad and I go on. This year, socks (needed a new set), MIA CD, some books and some DVD's. I have never asked for anything Apple or the like.

Particularly since the TiVo peanut remote is one of the best aspects of the TiVo experience. If I couldn't use my peanuts, I'd certainly buy a new TV instead of using a crappy universal remote. 😉

That said, I have a Philips learning universal that has the special TiVo/DVR keys for when we misplace the peanuts. My wife HATES it with a passion.

'round here it's all about the little ones this year... Nothing big/fun for us parents.

Christmas cookies (Fed Ex'd from parents) 😀

Most of the above was stuff I bought for myself (includes most of the Mac stuff).

And I still have 100 bucks to blow after Christmas...the question is, what should I blow it on?

The above was all bought toward the middle of November. My wife and I have a few things we have to open from relatives tomorrow morning.
 
Five years after getting my first drum set (and starting drum lessons), I got a BIG upgrade...Thanks mom & dad!

I know what I'm getting. A PSP with SSX On Tour and the PSP Starter Kit.😀 I also got $100 last month to buy my iPod video as part of my X-Mas gift.
 
No opened presents yet... but there are a LOT of them! more than ever before i think! probably down to my dad being off work for about 2 months (slowly recovering from a serious knee operation) so the moneys been rolling in for nothing! hah. alright for some.

I know for sure I'm getting that Dell 2005FPW monitor, I've asked for a random DS game that my parents know i'd like and a Tom Baker scarf. Theres the obligatory Celebrations tin.

I got my sister 2 Sonic GBA games, my brother 2 Xbox games, my mum a stack of these Thornton lemon chocolate bars, my father (because his main present didn't arrive) a fridge magnet and 2 chocolate things from Thorntons. my girlfriend is getting Mario Kart DS cleverly wrapped up in both a random hat of mine and lots of wrapping paper to throw her off 😀

edit:never mind, I googled it, and is some kind of shoe. She won't be interested. Still a cute name, though.
 
So far I only opened one present and it was a mighty mouse. The rest will be opened tomorrow (and the one that Santa brings 😛). I didn't ask for anything besides an iSight, so I don't really mind if I get get anything else. I know I will though. 😀
