I got the Dell 2405FP. My dad kept asking me what I wanted, and he does so much throughout the year I didn't ask for anything. He told me to get 1 thing I really wanted so I decided to get a new monitor.
 
Well, for the first yankee swap, I ended up with a bottle of Johnny Walker Red Label and some booze-filled chocolates. Did I mention I'm under age? :D

Actually, I traded with my father after the fact. He picked the 512MB flash drive I brought (SanDisk Cruzer Micro. damn thing's TINY! :eek: ). I'll probably end up drinking the scotch anyway. He's got about half a 1.75L bottle left in the liquor cabinet.

well!!! the morning is here! I got...

Dell 2005FPW monitor, Ross Noble DVD, Spooks series 3, Dogtanian DVD (my girlfriend can be so brilliant :D ), A TOM BAKER SCARF!!!, ANIMAL CROSSING DS (YAWOO!), 2 shirts, socks, extremely big Yorkie bar, big tin of Celebrations, few other things that I cant remember right now!

I love this monitor though haha. so big. smaller than my old TV but its beautifully crisp.
 
No very big surprises, but still vey nice:
- LaCie DVD burner (as mentioned elsewhere, and I actually got this before Yule).
- The 5th book about Pondus (Norwegian cartoon, very amusing).
- Some warm, long underwear (one whole set in wool and one pair of long underpants in Goretex)
- A very nice teflon coated 2l saucepan (exactly what I asked for)
- Some money and a gift card (always handy ;))
- A digital camera: Olympus µ [mju:] digital 600 (Olympus Stylus Digital 600 in the US), a nice 6MP compact all weather camera.

I got a couple shirts, a lava lamp, and a new winter vest. But the kicker was the last thing I opened. I assumed it was about 3 CD's, based on the size, but it was an iPod nano. I was so excited!!!! Yay!! My first Apple product! I was gonna put one of the Apple stickers on the back of the family lugger(a '97 Honda Odyssey), but my family frowned upon that. Which means that my new year's resolution is to switch my immediate family, then the stickers are giong where they belong - where any-and-everyone can see it. But, for now, the beautiful black nano is gonna hafta do.
 
YAYAYAY I got a remote starter for my car ^_______^ so happy

along with Family Guy volume 3 and other such things as a ******** of giftcards and clothes.
 
I pulled in mostly DVDs this year; 24 Season 4, Seinfeld 5 & 6, Arrested Development 2, Scrubs 2. Received some games this year too; Jak X Racer and Madden 06 for PS2. Also, got a lot of clothes (black turtle necks.. so excited :D )
 
I got clothes, some CD-Rs and such... but the big gift....

...just enough money to buy a new 15" Powerbook after the student discount. (Had 'bout $1000, family and "Santa" gave $800). Now all I have to do is wait for Intel :D ;)

Me too, but don't tell my parents. This is the third set they've gotten me this year :p One pair I'm slightly suspicious that they bought at the Limited Too....and I'm 18. But it works -- the socks are cute and I'll get used to the toe things. They meant well and I love them!
