sounds like everyone got some amazing gifts.
oddly enough, I was given everything that I pretty much asked for. the truth is the list was just a list of crap I put down that I intend on buying.
UV & IR filters for new lens
UGG boots
Superman Xbox game (it's apparently a game they don't sell, but if you search for a photo of my desk you'll see why I like it)
Air Hockey table (this was a shocker, I only mentioned it about 5 months ago)
Monopod head

tripod strap (thank goodness!)
book of guitar chords
guitar for dummies (a bit of a joke that I enjoyed)

What an awesome Christmas eh? Totally blew away my expectations. Very happy little boy right now, and I got to spend the whole day today watching the first day of the Boxing Day test in crystal clear digital TV on a nice big 68cm display. As opposed to watching it on my little 34cm display and trying to sort out which of the six bowlers and 6 balls are going to hit the 6 batsmen before being fielded by 6 of the 60 other players on the field.

EDIT: Oh, and my wind is gone.:D

My parents are spending a lot of money on Uni this year, they're renting an apartment downtown Toronto for me so I didn't ask for anything but they still got me lots of goodies :).

oh yeah, and in a roundabout way I ended up with a 20" imac recently, which was christmas-related (gave mom my 17" imac)! :D

Wow, impressive - both the totals as well as the effort you put in to do this! ;) 10 minutes or not, that was still more than any of the rest of us probably would have tried to do... :eek:
 
Bit of cash, few trinkets, and my main present was an iCurve.

I envy some of you who have received these mega presents, but I'm glad I don't have to spend that cash on others. :)
