Well everyone I got out! I used the policy argument and they cancelled my contract. I still have service until March since my father already paid.

I went to AT&T and they told me I need to unlock my iPhone 4S somehow... (I have one of their sims right now lol)

She told me Apple does unlocks...? Is that true?

Apple doesn't do unlocks, there's no current unlock for the 4S, though a company out of China recently announced the created a tpsim that will unlock the phone. It's not proven yet though.

If they allow you out of the contract they should unlock the phone. Only they can do it. Maybe they will be nice and do it (perhaps for a fee) - maybe you have an expensive ipod.
