I completed my order two minutes before preorders went live via the At&t App. Been showing "Preparing for Shipping" from the beginning. However, eta still shows 10/16-10/23.

Look at the poll everyone and notice how the majority is preparing for shipment. You should all really panic if you are still in processing!

For folks whose status is preparing for shipment, what time you complete the order?

Makes no difference. I always place orders in the first 1-2 minutes that I can and my status never changes from processing to anything else until the night before it's due to arrive. That may not happen with yours, but my point is that the time you ordered doesn't correlate to the current status. If your phone is already stateside (assuming you are in the US) then it won't change status until 9/24.

Preparing for shipment since saturday.. Tracking does not work for me (Germany). I guess it won't be shipped by UPS.

It absolutely may. Whether you can track it now or not doesn't tell you anything about shipment. Maybe it only needs 8 hours to get to you. It wouldn't be shipping now.
