You, like many other people in this thread, totally missed the blatant sarcasm. But I quoted you cause you'd think you would have gotten it since you remember him yelling at everyone who was complaining about being entitled to hold their phone however they want so therefore you should be able to see the satire in his post.

The irony indeed ;).

a) the OP is always sarcastic and caustic - believe me - it wasn't "wasted" on me or missed.

b) while tongue in cheek (the gripe) - I don't believe it was completely meant as a joke. Satire mixed with a truth that is trivial, but that he wanted to "let out"

c) my post was also tongue in cheek and satirical in nature

You're giving him too much credit and me not enough.

From what I remember, the mic and the speaker actually switched sides this go around.

The only flaw with the iphone 4 is its large anal retentive customer base that looks for any little thing to complain about.

true story :p

they complain about free give-aways, the fact that the phone does not meet their unrealistic needs, missing the way old software use to work, that the phone is not covered for cosmetic damages, that they want apple to act like police when their phone is lost/stolen, and that their phone is not 100% perfect in every angle, color and fitment

Its just a phone, not some sort of spacecraft engineered part w/ pin point manufacturing tolerances

The major flaw of the iPhone 4 is that it's a phone, and people keep forgetting that. It's masked behind all these "magical" words but all in all, IT'S A PHONE. Call someone.

Yes a speaker on the side would have been nice because I do the same thing. Still a petty complaint.

Wow. People will find anything and everything to whine about. This forum is officially terrible. So many babies. Just go buy a damn Droid. I'm sure you'll have a ton of stuff to whine about with whatever Droid flavor of the week you decide upon.

on the 3G I used to keep covering the speaker but now they have moved the speaker up top. (When holding landscape). I no longer cover it..

So I think it is heaps better on the iPhone 4.

On the contrary! I got used too cupping the phone with my hand in lanscaoe so the sound would project towards me. Sadly now I find myself constantly covering it! I thick it makes more sense to put the mic on the left side, since most people hold they're phones on the right ear, but now I constantly cover the sound. I'll just have to get used to it because I love my phone too much!
