Give the OP a break. I'm just as frustrated about it too. A status update from Apple would be nice, like "hey, due to extreme demand the space grey line will be towards the end of your estimated delivery window"

I think the OP is within his right to complain as a high % of theses watches are not for customer but from scalper on Ebay and CL. My local CL has over 50-60 ads already at 50% markup price. There is even 2 ads for a Watch Edition @ 16000$ each.

You may have ordered a popular style. As other ppl have said. There are a ton of combos you can get for each watch. I can order a lime green apple watch right now. And may get mine before yours. Simply because the watch I ordered is in abundance cause no one ordered that one.

Perhaps you could have ordered one with a rare band. And just bought the spare band you wanted to go with the watch you ordered?

No there was not a ton of combo's at launch, I wanted the space gray SS, but it was $400 US difference as can only order with 1 band

I cannot for the life of me understand those that have ordered multiple models. Unless they are for a spouse or something, who is really getting more than one. If you say you just want to see which one you like and you'll return the other, then you are truly doing a disservice to a company you say you like. Returning opened goods just so you can test drive models is indicative of the mentality of have your cake and eat it too nowadays and these sorts of things actually cost companies a lot of money.

What company had a preorder before they offered try on appointment available?

I am not trying to be mean when I say this but if you let a watch preorder affect your life in this way, you need some real perspective in your life. My Apple watch will not be here tomorrow, either. I am disappointed but life goes on and I will eventually get the watch.

Rather than sit around sulking all day tomorrow, get out and do something. Build something, do something nice for somebody... anything.

I do hope you realize that the common sense and positive thinking you're displaying is scaring the crap out of a huge number of people here...

It's like Apple did me a favor not sending me the watch day 1 because now I literally couldn't care less when/if I get it so I feel completely relaxed and normal as if the watch didn't exist.

I have to say, the OCD on this forum has been ridiculously entertaining for me. I love seeing you guys obsess over fedex flight patterns, supply chain management theories, emails of death, and so on. This will be very memorable for me lol.

I can understand the frustration, if you really wanted the watch on launch day. I originally wanted the blacks sports model, but the delivery date was end of May . And I was online within a minute. I went back and ordered the white sports model and it had the 24th delivery date . I like the white so either I will cancel the other which has not moved or give it to my son for his birthday .
We don't have an Apple Store here, and they didn't send any to best buy, so there was no way to actually see the watches in person , and that also meant having to wait even longer. I'm happy with my decision . I picked up my watch and love it. I will order other color bands later.
