Mine appears to have arrived in Dallas, transferring through Memphis early this morning. Here's my 'travel history'. Still showing delivery for Tuesday AM.

Mine is in the same boat. At the local sort facility, but FedEx home doesn't deliver on Mondays.

I asked for priority processing ($15), but I think that only applies to Apple's queue, not how it's shipped.

I don't think that's how it works as we don't have that option in the UK but FedEX isn't shipping our machines, UPS is.

I think it only applies to FedEX and thus only to the USA.

Shanghai, China 10/26/2013 16:35 Arrival Scan
10/26/2013 16:20 Departure Scan
10/26/2013 16:16 Origin Scan
China 10/26/2013 1:54 Order Processed: Ready for UPS

Delivery date is expected to be Nov. 4? Provided it's on its way out (and not staying stuck in Shanghai, does it really take over a week to get it over to Canada (even as it winds through the US first)?

That reminds me...am I better off getting a Thunderbolt to Firewire (does that exist?) or Thunderbolt to Ethernet? I already have a USB to Ethernet adapter but not sure if it's gigabit.

Yes firewire to thunderbolt exists, you'd think apple would at least include one with Rmbp box instead of charging us $29!

Updating my above post ^ I checked UPS tracking and my estimated delivery date is October 30th.

Congrats!

I got me a thunderbolt to Ethernet and magsafe2 adapter.

I like that apple doesn't include it. Less electronic waste.

It'd be nice if they make it a free opt-in though.

Mine did the same thing. Figured it was on a plane to Anchorage, but then it tells me it's still in Shanghai after 11 hours.

Mine shipped this morning to be delivered on the 30th by FedEx! Still in Shanghai. It was a BTO 15" 2.6/1TB/16GB. I ordered it on the 22nd at 5 pm CST. Any chance I will get it before the 30th?

The initial clock-in was just the e-record being created. The item itself never moved until it was picked up at 'Origin'.

That's my guess. Unless you're talking about the clock-ins after that. Then I guess China is a big place.

Not sure if it's my area, but FedEx Home Delivery service delivers on Saturdays AND Mondays in my area.
Sunday is the only day FedEx Home Delivery doesn't deliver.

Apple has never shipped a computer to me via FedEx home delivery. They always use FedEx express even with standard shipping. Also, anything coming from China has to come FedEx Express, so expect your new toy on Monday!

To those who got FedEx, did you ask for faster shipping?
Yes, I paid for 2-3 day express shipping.

On FedEx.com it says that FedEx Home Delivery does not deliver on Monday. Only FedEx Express and FedEx Ground deliver on Monday.

Mine is quoted Nov 1-5.

Apple shipment notification says Nov 4.

UPS says Nov 1 - End of Day (Friday).

Let's go UPS!! :p

First time I got a Macbook Pro was a Powerbook G4 in 2004. UPS missed me on a Friday, and I had to wait until Monday.

This may end up a repeat.
