They did, I have 2 packages on the way and they both went from China to Europe in the past 3 days. One via Dubai and the other Korea,Kazakhstan, Poland. Both are now in Germany and I imagnine they will be here tomorrow.

Nice! My 15' base arrived arrived at store 2 days early from date they gave. I dont know why it took so long being that it was in stock for last 4 days. My GF wants to go with me.. and she wont be off work for another 5 hours... :sigh: but soon i will be drowning in digital euphoria!!! yes
Apple says Nov 4th, but UPS says Nov 1, end of day. I hope it's the latter, would be nice to get my new system set up over the weekend. I have some projects on hold as my current mid-2010 is pretty much dead and not reliable for bigger projects.
Hopefully, I think mine's on the same flight. What time was yours released and updated to in transit? The last thing for me is:

I'm stuck in China with destination west Canada. No updates from UPS since the 27th with export scan. Do you mind sharing your shipment tracking progress?
Stuck in China after export scan, destination Germany. I don't figure out what the export scan means if they are still stuck in customs.
Yes, I got mine shipped to an apple store. Ordered on the 23rd should be there for pickup on the 1st now

spoke to UPS and they said they aren't in charge of clearing my package as Apple hired a separate broker...

There's occasionally a 3:30pm flight to San Diego from Memphis, but it looks like not today. Hopefully it goes on tonight's plane.
My actual personal feeling (after reading some posts) is that customs are not a problem for our shipments at this stage (it might be later on when they reach Europe). The real problem is UPS having no flights leaving Shanghai in the last 48 hours.
I am considering contacting Apple tomorrow to express how much I am upset. I ordered 25 minutes after the store being live, I expected to be in the 1st wave but it took 4 full days for them to build. I wanted express shipping but it is not available for Germany (while for UK is, who knows why..) and now it is sitting in China since 54 hours.

same scans?! I thought I was the only one..
I thought import scan meant that it had cleared customs.. so I don't really get what UPS is trying to tell me...

Were you able to see that the package was close to home yesterday? I ask because mine is coming through FedEx and it's scheduled to be delivered on Wed. Current status has the rMBP in Memphis. Is it possible that as of now (nearly 5pm CST) with the package still in Memphis that'll it'll be delivered tomorrow (a day early) without me knowing?

just got an email back from UPS..
they said that in this case an import scan doesnt mean its been cleared from customs
they're waiting for a release scan, they we will see movement..
tomorrow is looking extremely unlikely
Did you get the Departure Scan from Shanghai this morning? My Anchorage Arrival scan just showed up, so keep your fingers crossed.
