The rMPB BTO Shipping Thread

UPS is screwing me over, it's been an hour away waiting to be put on a delivery truck for two days now. I've taken two days off work waiting for it on the assurance of UPS customer support that it will arrive. This is so frustrating.

My has been sitting there too since that time. I was hoping it would rush out of there and I would get it today, but I guess thats not going to be the case. Yours is shipping with FedEx too? I haven't seen whole lot of people who's have been shipped via FedEx, most have been with UPS.

Why not join ups mychoice and setup a 2 hour window for it or pick it up at the hub?
 
Finally! Mine was delivered at 9.45am this morning (NYC). And a 2.5" sata case from Amazon was delivered 30 min later so now I can move all my files over to the new one!

Thanks for the info I had no idea that you couldn't get mychoice in Canada and it's hard to tell on this site where a member is from. :D
 
Looks like I am joining the party much later than others!

Ordered a BTO rMBP 13" 2.6 i5/8GB/256GB SSD on Monday, shipped today hopefully will be here tuesday next week! Excited!

Ya sorry! I contacted them even asking if they new an approximate time the truck comes to my town and they said they couldn't tell me. They don't even seem to offer the 10:30am delivery service here. They just got back to me again and said despite the tracking info, it will get to me today, but I'm not holding my breath as this isn't the first time I've heard that from them. Thanks for the help though!
 
Got all excited for early delivery to SF when my 15" showed up in Anchorage last night but it went to Memphis instead of directly to Oakland. Oh well...
 
Last 2 days mine has been out for delivery but hasn't been delivered. After waiting in all day not a happy bunny. They've apparently promised me a pre-12 delivery tomorrow morning.

*Still waiting for Haswell* :mad:
 
I got mine today around 4pm in central London. It's a great machine. Haven't seen many progress bars, this thing is blazing fast! And the screen is gorgeous, too!
 
Missed the bloody delivery. :mad:

Getting it delivered to work tomorrow but I won't get the chance to do anything with it until Friday, way too busy.

Huh. So I just got a Departure Scan alert out of Louisville. Now I have no idea where it's going 'cause that doesn't jive with any of the UPS flights to the Toronto area that I'm aware of.

It'll probably wind up back in Anchorage or something!

There was a Louisville to Minneapolis-St. Paul flight departing at 3:44. Probably that one. Mine just left, too.

Mine just departed Louisville at 15.54PM. I don't know what flight this is on.

Mine was out for delivery but it didn't arrive at work. The status then went back to destination scan, then warehouse scan, then in transit :(. Oh well, fingers crossed for tomorrow.
 
My laptop arrived yesterday, but I'm still out of town and we won't be introduced until tomorrow night.

I'm so looking forward to comparing my new 15" 2.6/16GB/1TB SSD with my old Dell Studio 16. I just pulled up the specs from July 2010 when I got it and I may have to open a bottle of wine with the new mac.

I've been in the US for about 20 years and still can't get used to US date-style. :confused:
