Sarah is also smart, showing Windows registry hacks as well as other stuff and she doesn't act like a complete moron like you would think MOST girls would do on a technology show. Don't get me wrong, I liked Patrick and Leo, but I really liked the shows with Patrick and Kevin.
Kevin doesn't seem nearly as helpful to the callers as Patrick, Leo, or Kate were. Sure, they had their problems at times, maybe more than I can recall, but they almost always had a reasonable answer. If not, they had one either before the next segment or at the end of the show. Kevin's average just isn't quite high enough for my tastes. Also, the way he promotes and glorifies hacking, wardriving, etc. just annoys me. Maybe it's because I'm a PC Tech (not a sysadmin or IT Director), and I fear one day I'm going to have to waste my time cleaning up after someone like him. Yeah, I know he says he shows us these things for our own good, and I'm not blaming him for the actions of other hackers. It just irks me that he acts like hacking is so cool.
I guess I explained that coherently.
As for Sarah, I find a lot of her hacks to be totally useless. Maybe I'm just too practical, but I don't see the point in changing the text on my "Start" button. Also, I hope none of the people at work try this stuff. I'll be cleaning up after them too.
I don't think that Yoshi and Robert would make good hosts. They are great for segments during the show though. I think they need to get a better (older?) cohost with Kevin and the show will be much better.
You may be right about Yoshi and Robert. Hey, I'm no talent scout. I can't see them ever having an older host as long as Comcast is in control. Age, wisdom, and class aren't things that are appreciated by G4.
