I actually don't like how Space Gray looks with the black top and bottom glass. I'd like it a lot better if it had a solid Space Gray back like on the iPads.

Slate makes Space Gray boring.

I actually don't like the back either (though my white iPhone has a similar contrast), haha. But I do like how the sides of the phone stand out in the below picture.

Agreed. That's why I wish it had solid Space Gray back like the iPads. You can't avoid looking at the back.

I almost always go for the white iPhone but the Slate was so sexy that it made me go black with the iPhone 5. Apple came out with the uglier space gray for the 5S but also a beautiful gold model. Made my decision to go back to the white faced iPhone much easier. I don't think the space gray looks good at all. I almost don't even want to upgrade from the iPad mini to the rMini because they don't offer slate.

I have the space grey and I like it, but it looks too similar to the metal band around the iPhone 4. If there was a slate option I would've chosen that one, it's more unique in my opinion.

I'm the opposite, I don't like how the sides stand out - the pure black was so crisp. But I have the black leather case on mine now which looks great.

That back doesn't look great in my opinion. But I like the sides also.

I don't own either since both of my iOS devices are white/silver. But I considered long and hard about getting the space gray 5S. That gets my vote.

My 5 was slate and my 5s and Air are space gray. I actually much perfer the contrast between the space gray sides and black screen. Loved the slate when it first came out but it just kind of blends in to everything.

I still love my slate iPhone 5 holding up excellent since launch, never cased. Space gray is ok I own an iPad air but it's too light imo

I meant the back on the 5s coupled with those two pieces of black glass on top and bottom. The contrast is meh to me.

That's different as solid Space Gray back looks much better. The black top and bottom, on the other hand, doesn't look that great with Space Gray. I'd be all over Space Gray if the iPhone 5s had a solid back.

The space gray 5S has to be the most beautiful phone ever. It simply looks spectacular.
