It sure has taken a long time. Family Guy wasn't off the air for this long was it?

I am not really sure, although i did get the feeling that it was off the air for a couple of years. Maybe not, i never really watched it, and even now i just watch it when there is nothing better on.

I'm really not a Family Guy fan either, but I was just thinking that it was off the air for less time than Futurama. I think it's been a solid 3 years since Futurama's been off the air.

Family Guy was off the air for 3 and a half years, canceled in 2001 brought back in 2005. it just hit 100 episodes.

I agree totally with the OP. The new ones (including the movie) just arent funny anymore. The stories are just plain weak and the jokes arent funny. So i have stopped watching them.

The older ones had classic episodes with classic clips like "Aargh cobras, Cobras!!!" that make me laugh just thinking about them.
