Late orderer here. Just got an update from Apple. I ordered a SS BLL on 5/3 and was quoted July. Just got an update a few minutes ago with the date range of 23 Jun, 2015 - 08 Jul, 2015.

That should bode well for anyone who placed an order in April, since this means they will get all orders up to 5/3 shipped by 08 Jul.

As for me, I will most likely cancel this order since I have a SG Sport order placed on 4/10 that should ship any day now. I ordered the SS as a backup in case I didn't like the SG Sport, but as of today I'm thinking the Sport is the right entry point for me. The SS is expensive and I haven't worn a watch for 20 years. If I was a long-time watch guy, I'd be all over the SS. But we'll see in a few days.

Only the U.S. And Canadian orders got updated shipping details. UK orders still stuck with a July shipping window.

Hey so I just received mine. Is it just my unit or does the magnet make clicky tacky noises when your wrist is moving or when you flick your wrist with the watch?

Yes I think this has been discussed before. It does feel a bit like you are receiving a message doesn't it. Not sure if it gets better or you just get used to it. obviously it is the magnets moving slightly.

I have a hard time believing both of these posts unless I see proof. I ordered my 42mm SS with medium Black Leather Loop on April 10 and I have a delivery window of May 29 to June 11. I am in the US. Unless these deliveries are in other countries, even then it is wrong, it makes no sense for Apple to ship someone who ordered later for the same exact watch before an earlier order.

Forgot to update. The next day after my original post my delivery date range was updated again to 5-6 weeks 22 Jun - 29 Jun like everyone else was getting who originally had the generic "June" date.

Yep same here. The haptic feedback could be a touch stronger, too. I tend not to notice it if I'm out walking. May need to try the prominent haptic...

Got my watch, curious if people think I should switch to the medium or not? I already placed the order for a medium, but am not sure if it is necessary.

Does it feel too big?

I have a large on order and my wrists are approximately 181mm in circumference so I punted for the large. I'm right in the overlap so may swap for a medium when it comes on Monday. #

I had the pleasure using my watch today. It already arrived on Friday, but I had to travel.

Thanks to all the people in this thread who all waited and shared the impatient remarks.

The picture is on the yellow side from my desk lamp.

I'm happy. The hardware is really nice, I mostly use the HUE app and the Apple Remote. Not sure how useful it will be but I really like it.

I always thought I have a small wrist, but the 42mm is definitely OK.

Cheers and heads-up to all who still have to wait.

I wish I would have gotten the large so my band wrapped all the way around like that. I like the look.

But it's up to you and what u like.

I got the large black one specifically for that look. It also means you can easily take the Watch off your wrist without having to un-loop the leather completely. I think it looks aces. Plus it gives me peace of mind there being more magnets keeping the Watch secure!

Also, it makes it really easy to see how tight to make it, as you can count the "rungs on the ladder" from the Watch face to know exactly where to engage the magnets. It's brilliant that way.

I vote keep it. :)

I think it looks great. It looks almost like mines does on me. I got the large brown leather loop, AND I'm left handed too. :)

so pretty much if you ordered Black Leather Loop after 4/12 your waiting until Atleast June 22nd it seems.

Has anyone ordered a Black Loop after the 12th and gotten an earlier delivery window?

I ordered a 42mm Black Leather Loop Large on 4/17 and have a 6/22-6/29 window. :/

I still enjoy my Leather Loop very much.
So much in fact, that I'd like to see a similar band on regular watches.

Agreed. Lovely band. My only minor complaint is that if like it to be a tad quieter. The magnets are sometimes audible as it shifts around. Very minor issue. Love the band.

Delivered!

Just received my 42 SS with black leather loop. Very nice and the medium band fits my 165 mm wrist perfectly. I ordered on 11 April with an original delivery estimate of June, so very pleased to have received it today.

Congrats. Looks gorgeous.

Ordered: April 10, 42MM SS with Medium Black Leather Loop Band.

Just received update today, PREPARING FOR SHIPMENT. I originally had June Delivery, than May 29 to June 11th, now preparing for Shipment.

Usually how long till it actually ships? In the United States.

Only problem is my wife was hoping I wouldn't get the watch until next week, because we are going away for our 20th anniversary this upcoming weekend, and didn't want any distractions. My daughter said I should leave the watch at home. I told them it is a watch first, "It won't distract like my iPhone does." Do you think they are right. Should I leave it at home or don't worry about it?

So far i'm loving the Apple Watch and Leather Loop! :)

My two main concerns are with the Haptic feedback.

Its pretty weak in general, so taps are easy to miss when im out and about walking.

Also, the Leather Loop does creak a tiny bit every now and then, which makes it feel like a notification is coming through.

But in general this thing is beautiful, and well worth the wait.

You'll get used to the creaking, but agreeably it is annoying. Especially when driving.

I actually took my band off and swapped the top and bottom over and it did seem to reduce this. May be my imagination tho.

Make sure you enable prominent haptic too, it might help!

Gives the rest of us who lurk hope. The initial Apple Fanboys are no longer posting, it is now the lazy Apple Fanboys like me who didn't get up or stay up till Midnight (PDT) to order that are waiting....

I agree. Wore my wife's sports band for a week then when I got my leather loop--the creaking threw me-off too. I can't say I've gotten used to it yet. I do wish they were a bit more supple. But of course, like most Apple products owners, I'm being super picky.

In the same boat. My wrist is 185mm ish--right on the edge. My hand is too barge to keep the loop closed while I slip my hand in... so that sorta defeats the purpose of having that extra slack.

I didn't like the wrap-around at first but I think it's growing on me.
