The STAY AWAKE iPhone 5 Thread

Just placed my order. Phew. The only thing that might of went wrong was that my shipping address was missing one important line but I am hoping if I call Apple and tell them that this line that I want to add is on my ATT wireless billing address I don't know why they would be against it. So much easier to place order than when I got my iPhone 4....:D

Agreed, use the apple store app for quicker ordering. Took less than two minutes to order mine
 
Wow, that was easy. I've always had issues with pre-ordering, but I got my 64 white AT&T ordered in the first attempt less than 15 minutes after midnight. Site got a little slow at times, but no problems. Back to bed! :)
 
With all the excitement of ordering the iphone on the app, I forget to order an extra cable and adapter. Oh well, that will be a detail and I will just order one separately and just ask for the shipping to be credited.

Site still shows down for me, good thing I used the app.
 
finally got it up on my macbook air. wouldnt sign in at first and then had some weird timeout error when i clicked place order. Yet i received a confirmation for my order being processed
 
This was my first attempt, but after that it worked beautifully (and it saved the first attempt in my cart.)

Used the Store App!

The actual Apple Store is still down...

Anyone else do this?
 
Oh dammit. Why can't I change the billing address on Verizon? Can't use my card and will have to use my mom's, so I'll have to wait until later today to preorder... any chance of it still being delivered the 21st? :/
 
I got into the US apple store.. It says I successfully reserved one for 24 hours and gave me a reference #. Says Ill get an email saying:


We will email when we’re able to reach the carrier systems. The email will include instructions to complete your order as well as the return link. You will have 24 hours from the time the email is sent to return to the Apple Online store to proceed with your order. If you do not complete your purchase within 24 hours, your reservation will be canceled.
 
Wow, so at the checkout on verizon they showed a bunch of cases and made it seem like they were for the iphone5 but on my order confirmation email it says iphone 4s. That was pointless. I guess I'll sell it with my 4s because I don't know how I can just remove that part of my order...
