Tried Firefox, Chrome, and Safari, and deleted cookies from Safari, and spoofed my Safari user-agent to appear as an iPad (I *can* connect with my iPad, using the same Wi-Fi connection). Still unable to access the site on my Mac.

Only thing is its getting delivered 4 hours away...

I hope I can change the shipping address later...
 
There's one screen, in between the Cart screen and the following (maybe the 'log in with your iTunes name/pass or create new account' screen) where it just seemed like nothing was happening at all and you were on a blank screen with no apparent loading process.

After about a minute it does start moving ahead, and the final checkout screens popped up as if there were no server load at all.
 
First time I've stayed up to preorder... it's been thrilling.
3:24am and managed to finally get a 64GB Black ordered using the app (took several attempts after the timeout message kept popping up)... apple.ca store still down.

Just ordered through the app. Took me I don't know how many times, but I copied my password and entered it every time, and at some point it went through. Keep trying folks!
 
Anyone else who ordered from AT&T with a grandfathered unlimited data plan seeing this too?

I doubt they'll actually charge for both, but it'll still involve an annoying phone call to AT&T to find out why that showed up. I think I'll wait until my iPhone ships before allowing any of the geniuses who work there to mess with my order. :D
 
So i ordered my phone from AT&T over the app...pretty sure I goofed up on the data plan part though. I had the grand fathered in unlimited package but I chose a new data plan because it was only showing 59.99 unlimited voice as my current plan and no data...

gonna call customer service tomorrow...im sure it will be a battle. Didn't help that the Att website is down and i could't verify the new account policies

Got both mine and my dad's. A 32 and a 64. 299 and 399 respectively. Got most lag when I clicked "checkout". Looks like they're allowing so many people at a time on Apple.com. For example, I got in on my safari browser but I still can't get in on my chrome browser. My advice is if you get in, do all your shopping yourself because you won't be getting in anywhere else. Happy shopping!
 
app on iphone 4s didnt load forever, turned off wifi and used cellular, worked on the second try. store still down for me website wise. I have an email confirmation, and Im going back to bed.

Yes. I stopped when I saw that and waited for the Apple store to come up. Over at Apple, all my existing services grandfathered in properly.

Last year I lost my discontinued texting plan thanks to AT&T's screwups, wasn't gonna fall for it this time. (A phone rep at AT&T got the plan back for me, at least.)
 
Damn these timeout errors. Apple store still down for me, so is ATT store. I am still trying to get my order to go through via Apple Store App.

At least the App Store app is working though.
 
Verizon didn't offer AppleCare, however.... how long do we have after we receive the iPhone to buy & activate AppleCare?

you have 30 days, and it requires a genius bar appointment. sucks because i couldn't figure out how to add it on the app, but didn't want to wait too long and have it start timing out.
 
Apple store website never opened up for me.

Ordered using iPhone Store app and got done in 5 minutes. 64GB Black with confirmation email already received. YAY! :D

Ordered two via Apple App too.... so much easier than last year. App took repeated attempts for first order, and first time on second order.
