I was lucky to get through on AT&T's website within the first 10 minutes. Hopefully you'll have some luck!
I just checked my CC account, and the pending charge is there. All looks good.

That was an ordeal, but got my order placed, three phones on my family plan, but I had to order through the Apple site, and not ATT. I had to place three separate orders, as Apple would not process multiple carrier phones on one order. Still concerned as ATT site kept trying to delete my unlimited data plan grandfathered from original iPhone. But the apple sight, kept the unlimited data for all three phones, will see on my next bill. well, good luck to everyone, I'm off to bed...

I completely accept that it's a douche move, and every year since the iPhone 4 I've made about $100-200 per phone. Sold about 10-15 each year, minimal effort.
I don't think so. My AT&T account bills to my office address, but my Applestore account bills to my home address and matches my credit card.
I ordered through the online Applestore and the delivery address is my home address not my office address.
Anyone got the ATT site working? Keep getting stuck after entering my phone number, last 4, and zip.

I managed to snag black 32GB AT&T model via the Apple store app. I received a confirmation email that my order was being processed. For some odd reason it lists the shipping address and phone number as old ones that are not even on my phone account anymore.....weird. Im going to attempt calling apple to fix it. Anyone have ideas why this would happen?

On Mac OS, using Safari. I got in and within 30 minutes, I ordered 1 phone on AT&T and two phones on Verizon.
I had absolutely no problems, nothing was slow or dropped.
However my brother, which I had to order for him, was on Windows 7, with Chrome, and the Apple Store website didn't come up until passed 12:30. It continued to state, "We will be right back" also, email confirmation was instant.
I placed orders for him.
Do you think this is a built in bias?

Ordered on Apple.com, ATT, black, 32GB. Hope I can change the shipping address to work before it ships out.
Took awhile for the Apple Store US to come online through FireFox and work though. I also went through ShopDiscover so I could try to get the 5% additional cashback they offer for Apple purchases. It says the iPhone qualifies.

apple app was the easiest no problems at all, i went to apple.com yesterday to make sure my credit card on file and addy matched where my billing (work) is listed for.
i still can't get on the att or apple site, but apple app had no problems.
go to apple.com again and login to your account and check, maybe they have a different addy listed in your manage your apple id section
Finally I was able to check out using the App store.
Went with 32GB White on ATT.

About to give up on ATT and risk it on apple.com with the wrong shipping address...

Well, I was finally able to get in and place orders for 3 iPhone 5's. Bad thing is between the time I placed the 2nd and 3rd phones, the delivery time went from 9/21 to 2 weeks. Bummer. Plus the one I ordered for my daughter would only let me have it delivered to her apartment. She teaches school all day though, so I'll have to go over to her apt. that day and camp out waiting for it to arrive.
