Still waiting, too. I've had this happen once before where they didn't deliver in the timeframe and had to wait to receive it the next day. Hopefully this won't be one of those. I don't blame Fedex - most of these guys do a great job.

Never asked for my ID. Me coming out of the house was enough for him. (I'm ~30 and look it, so that may have had something to do with it)
Just to be clear here, my wife is in fact an adult. My issue is actually that most likely she was too lazy to get up off the couch and go sign for the delivery.
Well, that's something I have no experience with. If my wife missed them I'd have assumed her total deafness would have been a factor.
There is hope guys and girls, FedEx just got here, never been so happy to hear a doorbell. The delivery lady had 3 packages for me too when I only expected 2. I expected the iPad and Apple TV, but also was shipped a Marware Microshell back cover that I ordered that amazon said hadn't even been shipped yet.
All of my Apple packages, a number of iPads and MacBook Airs that we've used for promotional pieces, have come from AI.
And I'm in - delivered 20 min ago. Great job, FedEx. Pre-signed and release on file, so I'm good to go
FedEx royally screwed up on my delivery. I had the pre-signed paper taped on my door and the delivery guy proceeded to leave a hang tag and did not leave at my door as requested. Now I have to try and be right at the FedEx hub at 8PM when the driver returns or I will have to wait until tomorrow.

My guy showed up at 2pm and said all he had was iPads in the truck today. About to go do an unboxing, back on the forums later (in retina, heh heh).
Mine finally delivered via FedEx in the Seattle suburbs at 1:53pm. The driver didn't seem to be in any particular hurry. He just sauntered down our long driveway while fiddling with his scanner.

Fedex website says Delivery Exception for my tracking number. "Customer not available or business closed". I know for sure that wasn't true and there was someone at home. Also there was no door tags. So I called them, and the customer rep says my delivery was delayed for tomorrow, because they had so many packages from Apple. I asked her, why doesn't website say that. She didn't have an answer for that.
I'm guessing that they want to blame us for their ineptitude. Their numbers will look good and Apple will never know. I'm not sure if the local manager is shady or if it's a driver's mistake. Anyway, Nice going Fedex!

FedEx just arrived. 2:24 pm. Phoenix, AZ. Close to Downtown Glendale. They made it by 3! FedEx met my expectations!

Just called my local Apple Store. No line, "limited quantities" of practically all models. It's 3pm PST. I think preordering is the worst option for anybody who has time to physically go to a store and buy one.

I'm in Buckeye mine got here just after 1 o'clock
In the Bay Area (peninsula) here and my package isn't even showing out for delivery. I called FedEx and they said they're skipping some of those scans but they're not sure if I'll even get mine today, and it might come Saturday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they just skipped the scan and will get it today but gosh.. that's annoying.
My iPad finally arrived and it's what I expected and more. This was a loooong day but I'm happy to have it in my hands and looking forward to playing with it. Good luck to all who are still waiting!

I show up and they said come back at 6. When I came back they said 8-8:30 and the truck might get back after they close. They said they ment to put delay in time not no one home. I return home and there is a FedEx slip at the door. So pissed off. Going to hit them up before close. I hate FedEx.
