I had a similar issue just one time with UPS years ago. They gave a Force FX lightsaber I ordered to our apartments office manager. Only problem was, the complex didn't have an on site office.

Never did get the toy, some where this is a UPS worker reenacting the star wars kid video I always thought.

After tomorrow, I may.

Not even because they'll miss the shipping deadline. Because I'm having to deal with UPS falsifying records and Apple Support believing them when I have rock-solid proof to the contrary.

Did it arrive yesterday?

I've also spent hours on the phone with UPS with similar issues. They will scan an entire shipment and mark it as "out for delivery" and then find they cannot fit the whole thing on their fleet of trucks, so some packages remain at the warehouse, and at the end of the day the leftover stuff is rescanned to show as delivery the following day (or Monday).

Nope. And they finally had to admit it was lost today.

The last package scan was on Friday, 5/8 at 8:12AM.

Apple are sending me another one using a different carrier and priority shipping.

Report back here with what happens. I'm hoping it works out for you and would like to know.

As I said up there, Apple are shipping a new one. The rep actually encouraged me to email Tim Cook because the Apple reps before him blew me off and kept ignoring the proof I had that the bracelet was missing.

So, I shall compose a thoughtful email to him today. It's not about me being annoyed at a later delivery. It would've been nice to have it on time.

The real issue is having to expend so much effort to get someone to send me a shipment I ordered over a month ago AND paid for in full a week ago. Nobody should have to make that many calls to UPS and to Apple to get their merchandise when a shipping problem occurs.

That's not acceptable from a large company that prides itself on customer service.

Update: My husband's link bracelet was found all of a sudden by UPS. It wasn't ever even listed as "out on truck for delivery" today. I checked, just out of morbid curiosity. Instead, it just appeared here with the UPS guy this afternoon.

The UPS guy told my son when he left it here that we should contact Apple and/or UPS if we'd reported it missing.

I'm not in any hurry to contact them. Nobody had any sense of urgency at all about finding my package.

I did find it rather heartwarming that our UPS guy was so excited that it reappeared.

My husband likes his band so far and I guess we'll see, but I still plan to sit down and email Tim Cook about this whole ordeal because nobody should have to go through that much damned work to get a product they already paid for from a shipper OR the vendor.

You got a free link bracelet, that's pretty cool.

Except it's fraud. Regardless of what happened, he has the watch band and has engaged in fraud by contacting Apple because "since in the system I never technically received my band"

That's like the *******s that scam people on Ebay saying they didn't get something because there was no signature confirmation.

If UPS finds out you got the band they would NOT approve Apple's claim for the band. They would refund shipping as they didn't get signature or do a good job with delivery. However you provided proof of delivery with this thread. UPS would love to see this.

GL in life bro.

oh my god i hate UPS as well!

i get a notification for a delivery but i wasnt home fine ... 1st delivery attempt failed so i called them to let them know that i wouldnt be home the next day either and that i would be picking it up at the depot ... lady on the phone was more than welcome to change it to PICK UP and i can even see it in the system. next day i am at work and get an email "2nd delivery attempt failed" and i am furious calling again OMG I SAID I WILL BE PICKING IT UP! lady on the phone is like so you want to pick it up instead? YES!!!! okay you can pick it up by 7pm today. my aunt drives me there and guess what that idiot of a track driver had it already in his truck for yet another delivery attempt! lady goes back and looks through the truck and gives me the package at last. i am sure if i hadent shown up that day they would have initiated a 3rd and final delivery attempt. smh

and then there r those who dont even bother to ring and just pretend no one was home to save time

Awesome! Glad to hear it worked out.

I am guessing he was reluctant to tell Apple on the second telephone call that he received his package.

I told Apple that I recieved my package. I'd like to think I'm fairly honest. My follow up call was to tell them I recieved it.

Which you stated in your original post.

I haven't called Apple since mine arrived. If they cannot read that UPS found it and we signed for it, I'm filing that under "not my problem" because I had to spend nearly 6 days calling people to try to find my band. None of them called me until I escalated through UPS. ;)

If they do ignore my history and ship another, I'll refuse the shipment anyway.
