I want to point out that Apple has also released another comprehensive resource: iPhone User Guide iOS 16 which describes all the iPhone features, including new iOS 16 features and includes coverage of iPhone 14 phones. It is free in the Books app.
Is there any way to manipulate the media player that appears on the locked screen? Previously it was just a bar, but listening to a podcast this morning, it took up the entire screen. I prefer a cleaner locked screen.

This is turning out to be a really mediocre update. Comparing this to Android 13 is truly an illuminating process. Android is so much more intuitive which is insane considering that was Android’s major flaw this whole time.
iOS is getting more like the way andriod goes, adding more eye candies than providing better productivity.
I had been an andriod user for more than 10 yrs. what iOS excels in is its simplicity and amazing integration (not innovation). A nos of iOS new features had been found in andriod or other apps. It is just the way IOS to integrate these features to link up its stock apps.
I don’t like iOS is getting bulky becos of adding these eye candies that I don’t need.
