Carrier The Verizon iPhone X Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

As if to be so very cruel and tease the hell out of me, there is a FedEx truck (says FedEx Ground) right across the street...

Is it too much to hope that potentially they just missed a scan and it is on a truck already?

I'm going to wait for another half hour before leaving the waiver on the door and heading to the office. I haven't had a Fedex package shipped to my aunt's house (old billing address, never updated it) in a long time so I'm not sure when the truck arrives.

At my local facility - I’m up watching “fake news” waiting impatiently for my precious to arrive. I took a alternative weekend Sunday to get this day off and not use PTO

Hmm, weird. When i got my iPhone 7+ last year I just had to pair it. I never unpaired it. Been working fine for 13 months.
 
“On FedEx vehicle for delivery”. Such beautiful words! Case already, old phone backed up to iCloud and iTunes, Apple Watch updated, so prepped for arrival.

I should have just went to my local Verizon store. They had quite a bit with less than 15 people waiting at 6am. They still have 64gb models available as of right now. No more 256.

So stupid... I still have a 12/6 date on my pre order an no clue when it will move. Should have just got up at 6am and headed over to the store.

It's kind of BS that stores get stock before pre orders ship...

Well, a Fedex Express van just passed by my house so it wasn't on that one. For those of you getting their phones via Fedex, do you know if it's Fedex Express or Ground?

i have a pre order in but as of now not shipping until 12/6. Got online this morning and it showed I could order from a local store and pick up. Called verizon and they said there are no guarantees that if I do that I would get it today in the store.

So i decided to keep my current pre order in and go to the local store. There was a small line of like 12 people. The person in front of me did the pre order this morning at 6am for in store pickup and got his phone. They just sold their last 256gb SG, but had all other phones. I want to stick with 256 SG, so I did not buy one.

Back to waiting for my original pre order.

i had a pre order and cancelled it after 4 days. waited up last night until 2am cst. got one. walked into the store and they handed me the bag
 
I want to drive around looking for the Fedex truck. Our town is about 60k people. Anyone tried this? Would the local facility know and share the route? My buddy will watch and sign for at my house while I'm out.

Feeling the same way. Sitting at home waiting for a delivery when I could have had it already. Drove by my local VZW store at 730 this morning and there were only about 6 people waiting.

all my music is from itunes, so i suppose I could just connect the phone to itunes and sync.

What about pictures? will they all come in from icloud too? I do not pay for icloud though... just use the free storage.
 
Address change—

Went into Verizon and got a phone! They transferred the one being shipped to another line so I could re upgrade in store. Even got silver which is what I wanted. just have to return the other one whenever it decides to show.
 
Mine finally went out for delivery!!! It’s getting delivered to my in laws house and I just texted my mil to make sure she put the note on the door and she stayed home sick from work today. Very convenient for me that it happened today so my phone doesn’t have to sit out in the rain.
