Carrier The Verizon iPhone X Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

My currently phone requires $100 more payment to be eligiable for upgrade (50%). So if I pay $100 and preorder the new iPhone but ship in a couple of months later. How does the Verizon payment plan work in this situation? Does Verizon just stop charge me monthly payment for 2 months until I get my new phone and return back current phone?

Tonight's pre-order is only for then iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, which will start arriving on the release date 9/22. Since you mentioned months until shipping I believe you're looking to order the iPhone X. The iPhone X pre-order is October 27th, so not tonight.

The website won't let me switch the "upgrades" (still paying off 7+ but giving to a family member, using their upgrade to get the 8+ on my line), if I order the iphone on the line that has an upgrade, but when it comes just pop in the sim from my 7+ instead of the one included it should come up to the phone number the 7+ is on correct? (Sorry if a bit confusing)

Thanks for the reply. I'm taking off work oct 27 because I'll have to wait until 3am to order since I'm on the east coast. I also want to be sure the iPhone X gets delivered so taking off work nov. 3 so I can play with my new phone all day!

I've done this too multiple times. Ultimately, the upgrade is tied to the phone line even if the device agreement is being used on another line. Popping out SIM cards is pretty simple..

The 22nd is when the iPhone 8 will be available in store/released, so the preo-rders should start to arrive that day, but that's all based on delivery times and availability of the pre-orders. So ealier you pre-order, the better if you go that route.
iPhone X release date is November 3rd.

It's normal. They take down the store when adding new devices like the phones (and before and during keynotes) When they're ready to take orders it will be back up. This happens each year. no worries.

Just curious. I’ve never ordered using the Apple app but does it let you know right away the ETA or does it take a few hrs to process

Verizon needs to offer better trade in deals 300.00 trade in deals is Weak. 300.00 for my iPhone 7+ 256 sorry, NO Gazelle offered over a 100 more then that.

No. The store will open at 12am Pacific, which is the same as 3am Eastern

How does trading in through verizon work? i have a phone that should get me 200 off . will it slow down the online process and ruin my shot at getting one ? Also do they let you know if the device you're ordering isnt getting sold out? Like im not really worried about color just want what ever asap

Few hours we will know.... but... I am hoping this year is the year I actually get a 8+ on release day at my door.... I went into the keynote thinking the X was going to be the one I wanted.... Guinness....it's a special occasion ritual. Stay up, drink until 2AM...take the day off work the next day, have the house to myself (my wife and I have an understanding). I suppose the Guinness isn't special its my favorite beer
