Even after doing the update released yesterday my less than a year old ultra 2 is still draining faster than before updating the OS a couple weeks ago. I wish I had never updated it.

Are you getting any new notifications that you previously have only received on your phone? Cause that what happens to me - the update rearranged some things around and my watch started getting more notif. load of my phone. Disabling location services and notifications for “newly responsive” apps - solved the battery issues for me.

No, nothing has changed from before this update to after the update. The only issue is that my watch battery is draining faster than prior to updating to the newest OS a couple weeks ago.

Try disabling your location for everything but important apps such as maps or “find my” etc - if possible turn off all notifications (but important ones like msgs or alarms) restart both iPhone and the watch and wait a couple of hrs- see if anything changes …..I feel like it could be a GPS bug that needs to be addressed. I have no prove but I had been dealing with the same issue for couple of days (tried everything but repairing the watch to the phone) …that’s what I did and only then realized that one particular app was actually sending updates to my watch and when I started to recall the past before update, I realized it hasn’t before the update. I get so many notifications that haven’t even noticed this was happening until I disabled all. Slowly I turned other apps notifications and location services back on except this time ONLY those I needed most. So far so good 🤞

*See also if you added any new widgets to your phone screen!or rearranged it in new OS- I didn’t realize but many drain battery 🪫 as they are constantly on….also sending data to the watch ….that could also potentially be something insignificant that may have happened without paying attention….what’s one widget? In my case one was plenty. HTH
