Imagine if Jobs said to himself one day: "Screw it. I'm just gonna go to town with the specs on this new(insert device of choice here)."Jeez when are pele going to learn that specs >< overall user experience???
enjoy your xoom, and as MacDawq stated, apple does its own thing.
Personally, the iPad is greater then the sum of its parts, so while the specs may not measure up to the xoom, the whole iPad platform is superior to xooms.
Besides, we have no idea how well honeycomb will be since its not released.
Finally, think about updates, apple updates iOS fairly often, but with android you need to wait until google releases the code, then motorola to update for their stuff.
The frustrating thing for me owning a droidx is that I have to wait an excessive amount of time for updates.
Droid X is one of the few Froyo-capable Android phones to have officially received a 2.2 update. Enjoy it..My frustration with the droid x is the slow pace of updates. Going to 2.2 took way too long, and then when it was a tad buggy in some areas, it took too many months for a simple bug fix.

As a former Ipad owner, I am looking forward to getting a Xoom, but I was wondering if, Stevo will upgrade the Ipad 2 to keep up with the Xoom ( Dual Processor, 1GB Ram, 2 Cameras, Flash ) or will he use smoke and mirrors, blind loyalty, and just say, " Hold it differently"
Has the Xoom been released yet? Oh... Does it have a release date? Oh... Has pricing been announced? Oh... Well, has the OS it will run been released yet? Oh... Has the OS version that it will run been even had an SDK released to developers yet so they can optimize their applications for it? Oh... But the release date for the SDK has been announced, right? Oh...
Who is blind then saying they are going to buy a Xoom without that basic information?
Right now I'd say it is it likely that the iPad2 is already ahead of the Xoom in product development timeline and could possibly ship before the Xoom. Apple just doesn't show devices early like others do, doesn't mean they aren't further ahead in their development.
. But also remember we have Apple fans now that have already sold their iPads, even though they didn't really want to, so they would have the most cash spare to buy the iPad2 and we know even less about that (we know nothing about it) than the Xoom which at least we have seen it and it's specs.
It would seem ever more crazy to sell a device you like to buy a device you don't even know the look or specs of yet.

The competition would really be screwed then, lol.
