I went with a brown look:

3GS on 4.1 currently. Everything about the theme works perfectly except the slider

I have the exact same problem on a iPod touch 3G with iOS 4.1

How did you "un"slant it?

editing the css code found in /private/var/stash/Themes.xxxxxx/SlantedLock.theme/Private/css

the xxxxxx is different for everybody

Is there a way to get just the weather from this lock screen?

in that css file set the opacity for everything but the weather to 0, and you can move the weather element anywhere on the screen from there as well

Adjusting fonts/colors

Has this already been discussed in this thread? Looking to change the fonts and colors for the text. Is this a bit more advanced or can a n00b handle something like this without issue?

Look one post up from yours. The css code controls the size, color, font, position, rotation, and opacity of the text.

Hmm....wow...no words really. Too lazy to look through 16 pages of posts never realizing my answer was one post above me. Thanks though. I'll sit in shame whilst editing my css file now.

I think this theme causes serious issues when data is turned off. I had data off on my 3Gs and the phone became really laggy. I went through the few cydia apps I have and either disabled or removed them but the problem remained until I was only left with slanted lock. Disabled it and the phone ran fine.

Yea... did you see the new patch notes? 1.5.4 fixes this very issue.

i can confirm this problem too on my 3GS. using the latest SlantedLock from cydia
im on iOS4.1

Ok. Can you both try setting interval time to be 1 minute. Lock the phone so it can grab newest data. Then unlock your phone and turn ON airplane mode. Use your phone for like 15 minutes or however long you had it before when it lagged.

Previously, the only reports of this exact behavior was always repeatable with the above method. I released 1.5.4 to fix that and haven't heard of any complaints til now. I can't imagine 4.1 would do anything different to mess it up.

Yeah doing that caused the performance issues practically straight away. Looks like this bug is back! Any other testing you need me to do?

Clear Rain iOS 4 Slider

How do I enable the Clear Rain iOS 4 Slider on the Slanted Lock screen?

I can not seem to figure it out.

Any chance I could see your SlantedLock.css file? I'm having a really hard time getting the numbers just right. I seem to be just off every time. :(
