Being able to get to camera quickly pretty much no matter what screen I'm on or what I'm doing is certainly one benefit of Control Center.

Faster to get to music/volume controls than before as well (and without the need of using up the home button that can wear out over time so sometimes).

After wearing out a home button on a previous iPhone, I've had assistive touch switched on from the word go with this phone. From there I can access volume controls without the need for the control centre. We all have our different ways of using these gadgets :)
I have the control centre switched off within apps, as I found that I would inadvertently open it whilst scrolling down.

In fact, I really wouldn't miss the control centre. It's only handy (to me) for locking the screen rotate feature whilst I'm reading in bed, on my side. Using it also seems to somehow mess up my auto-brightness. I don't know whether I accidentally hit the brightness control when I'm closing CC, but every second or third time I use it, my brightness goes way up. This issue kinda puts me off using it. I find it a bit of a gimmick, but most seem to swear by it :-/

i would rather disable the bluetooth toogle and have 3g instead, i hope ios 8 allows us to customise the toggles atleast
