There will be a crap load of phones available at Apple Stores on the 19th!

Curious as to what time each Apple Store will sell out of the 6+.

Also curious how many hours between selling out of the 6+ and 6.

Nobody knows, but based on all of the indications, Plus is the new gold 5S. My guess is that most stores will have a butt-load of the 6 and just a handful of the Plus. My take is that if you have more than 30 people ahead of you, you're probably hosed. I hope I'm wrong though.

Yeah, this is what I'm afraid of. I'm going at 3 AM and hope to get a Plus. More than 5 hours in line just isn't happening.

Preorder stock is separate from in store stock. Apple is not stupid to sell all of their phones for preorders. The lines are free marketing.

I wonder how many phones will be brick and mortar sold on launch day. I do remember my Apple Store in Aventura, FL didn't run out of phones until about 3-4pm on launch day.

Of course, with many more combinations of size, color, capacity, and more carriers on board this year, more people will be disappointed than in the past.

This was for the iPhone 4 if I recall. I asked one of the employees how many they actually got, and he said it was well over 1,000 units. EDIT:Oh, and this is when the Apple Store was upstairs by food court.

I ordered my 5 online so I didn't check the stores for that one.

If you know Aventura Mall, it is full of South American tourists almost exclusively that take tons of product back home. I don't think I recall ever walking in there and not seeing at least 100 people shopping and using the Genius bar. Usually many more especially on weekends. I am getting my phone shipped this year also, but will drop by the mall to check it out since I live just over the bridge in Sunny Isles.

How are you getting your 6/6+ this year, if you are at all?

Of course there will be a lot of launch day stock. I would guess that between the pre-orders and launch day stock it is either a 40/60 or 50/50 split.
