Wouldn't it be cool to have a dynamic wallpaper that works like the opening flower on :apple: Watch? Or your location on earth? (In case you forget.) I'd love to see those integrated into iOS.

Also, I'm assuming they have these dark wallpapers because they want to showcase iPhone 6 and it's black-friendly display. :D

Or an SDK to make your own?

That would be really cool. I'd like to have the jellyfish and the butterfly as dynamic wallpapers. It should be feasible on the phone if it's on the watch, and it probably isn't as taxing as the motion tracking bubbles.

Here's the wallpaper I'm liking the most. I always try to look for simple white wallpapers like this, but I never found anything like it.

The style reminds of some book covers or fashion ads where the image and the words are independent of each other, and there's no compromise to make them work together. Like how the flowers and the time overlap on the watch. It gives the right amount of imperfection for it to look natural, but still legible. These new wallpapers are very artistic.

It was, I just find it silly how apple introduced 1 dynamic wallpaper (in different colours) a year ago and we haven't seen a single new one since.

Heh, the punchline is they left out the best version of that dynamic wallpaper, but also left it hidden in the system files ...

They've yet to come up with a wallpaper that actually looks good covered with a screenful of multi-coloured icons.

Probably something they didn't really think would take off and seemingly it didn't so they haven't really bothered doing anything more with it.

We don't spend enough time on our home screens to appreciate them. Plus we have icons all over the place too. The lock screen is really the only place you could, but now that we have Touch ID, it's also a thing that's slowly fading away as we no longer ever see it except when notifications pop up.
