I love being able to control the iPhone camera with it. My husband and I took some pictures together in the garden at our hotel yesterday by propping the iPhone on a table and using the watch's camera app. :)

How much did maps drain your battery? I would think that would put a big strain on the battery.

It actually didn't drain that much...it was on Saturday and I used it a couple of times in South Beach and Key Biscayne. The watch still lasted all day with me playing around on it and doing the navigation. The phone is really doing a lot of the heavy work. I'll have to test it out more though.

I'm actually working doing a couch to 5K with the wife as the rings are motivating me to work out. I've read some threads where work outs have been draining the battery so interested to see what happens with that.

All in all have had no worries about battery life throughout the day. :)

That's awesome! We just got a tripod for the phone and I'm interested in trying that out...especially being able to use the watch as a view finder.

I'm really loving it is an Apple TV remote. I haven't seen too many people mention it. Only bad thing is it doesn't turn it on.

It turns mine on. I just press on the picture of the Apple TV (3rd Gen), and I don't have to find that silly remote at all.

After 4 days I've noticed this....

1) the activity app is killer. I love hitting my three 3 rings everyday.
2) I love glancing at the time and seeing my next meeting
3) it was cool buying something at the Walgreen with a flick of my wrist
4) I was driving and got a text, I felt the tap and was able to see it
5) the battery lasts me all day with room to spare

3rd party apps on the phone are over rated. When/if they improve I may change my mind but I'm never going to sit and run 3rd party apps. I can get my phone for that. Any one who sits and tries to use the watch like a phone should just use their phone.

Yes. Exactly.

Weird. When I open the Remote app on my watch it takes a second to find the Apple TV but then it turns on Apple TV without me doing anything...

I'm always curious what people are doing using a stopwatch all the time, to the point you want the stopwatch or timer accessible from the watch face. What are you timing constantly?

Cooking is a big one, and for me I clock out for lunch at work and so I set a timer at 28 minutes to remind me to go back and clock in (taking about two minutes to get back to the timeclock).

What I love:

- How quickly you can see your notifications, specially if your work is not a desk work (and you can see the phone on your desk for example)
-How quickly you can answer to texts, set a reminder with Siri and set the timer with Siri.
-The Activity app is simply great. Also the Work out app. I'd like they add tennis as an activity and they map runs and cycling.
- The battery is very very good, never went lower than 40%
- How easy it is to turn off the notifications (useful when you work out and don't want to be disturbed)

Downside
- The "Ey Siri" function does not work very well for me.
- A couple of texts did not go to my Watch for some reason.
- After working out (running or riding my bike), then the Activity app on the iPhone will not show me the Average Heart Rate!!!! WTF!!!! Does anybody else have this problem?
- Also, a couple of texts that I answered went to the wrong person. Not happy about this.

Cheers,
Juan (first post ever! :D)
