Hahahahaha for real? Calling me foolish?
Try and use it then. Go ahead. I'll be waiting. He's published the shell code to help you bootstrap multiple OS's on a device - he hasn't published a tool that allows you to dual boot. It's missing so many pieces of the puzzle to dual boot. I laugh in your face.
I challenge a single person to actually get this working. I will literally give $5.000 to the first person who can show me they used this tool to dual/triple boot.
I don't know, they sent monkeys into space in the 60s when we were still using small am radios to get our news, so i don't think its a terrible stretch that some dude will figure out how to do it. Anything is possible. If you had asked me as a teenager if all the technology that is around today would be available I would have thought no way. Now, even my kids all know how to set up ipods, etc. and its not rocket science.
Requires already jailbroken device of course?
Wow this sounds like crazy talk. I don't understand why it must be done manually with all those files. Sounds like April fools to me.
Yes. It also requires an Apple Internal tool to modify the device's partition layouts... good luck![]()

What does monkeys in space have anything to do with what we're talking about?
The 5S never had any firmware written below 7.0 genius.
You expect to put 5.1 or iOS 6 on it?
Not on a device with a bootrom exploit. Just load up a SSH ramdisk and edit away with fdisk.
i actually want to mess with this. what exactly do i need to do with fdisk? and what would i even use to open it? because if i use textrangler, it shows a bunch of undecipherable apple symbols, and if i open it with terminal, it says process completed...
It was years ago I did it. There's an old thread about it on iFans.com.
alright. did you post about it on there, and if so, was your user name intell?
I think I posted in it. Yes, same username. I think the thread was started by pEAcEmAKeR99.
As I said, I don't know all the specifics. But they once believed the world was flat and you COULDN'T cross the ocean-yet it was done. My analogy was simply that things that seem impossible, are often done.
Just because something hasn't been done before doesn't mean it can't be made to work in the future. I wasn't making fun, was simply pointing out that it's not impossible, though improbable maybe. Dare to think outside the box.
