You guys should know how Apple operates by now:

Apple is purely profit driven. They will recycle old ****** just to make another buck on top of the heaping pile of cash taken from your wallet. Don't expect A6, don't expect IGZO screen, don't expect anything drastically different than a simply port change to the new lightning connector!

Apple will trickle update their line of ipads slowly, milking every cent along the upgrade path. You can guarantee this!

You are 100% correct. That is apples mo. Yet people will hype up their expectations only to be disappointed. iPad mini will have the iPad 3 or less chip, nothing newer. The screen won't be retina.

Why not? 5 years ago we'd probably "lol" at a tablet getting 10hr battery life so at some point its going to happen.



I'm not even believing there will be an update. It just doesnt feel like an Apple move to do a mid cycle refresh just to get a lightning connector on there. Especially considering lightning cables are still hard to find and there's no actual accessories that take advantage of it.

My guess is that they'll refresh the iPad line on schedule.

At some point, yes it will happen. 6 months after they introduce the new iPad you think they are going to increase the battery life by 14 hours? That is what I am LOLing about. It's not going to happen.
