Ok, couldn't resist...
The Argos refurb store on eBay had an A grade manager level refurb 42mm silver series 1 watch, with a white band.
I grabbed it. I'll get the money at Christmas but it was the last one and it has a 12 month warranty, it was £205 which is pretty much a £100 pound saving! I got an iPod Touch for Christmas 2015 but don't use it, I got a 128 GB iPhone since, so I sold that and the money from it will also go to the watch which I think will be more useful.
Got it today, came in the original box with all accessories, the box has a couple of scuffs, the charging puck has a slight mark, and that's it, the watch itself is spotless! Like brand new! Been playing with it tonight and I'm pretty impressed. I like how they've done the fitness aspect of it, which is what I wanted.
I'll test it over the weekend to ensure it's all fine then box it back up till Chrimbo day. Yeah it's a nice lil gadget.. lovely screen.
I did back the new Ticwear kickstarter campaign for their Android 2.0 watch which is nice but will have limited iPhone functionality, also it is a bit bigger, and I would potentially be paying over £50 in courier charges and VAT which was nudging the cost near the Apple Watch I got...
I looked at all the FitBits too but whatever something a bit more and I'm no athlete.
I do find the new Honor Band 3 to be good though, lots of features, cool looks and great price!
Anyway, thanks for the answers and help. No doubt I'll have some more.
