OP, here's my 2c

i'd say to with a kingston ssdnow v+100 FTW!
you will get absolute compatibility with every mac / os x version of past, present & future (controller is the same as apple branded ssd's, just a tiny bit less optimized from what someone says), serious trim support which just works and a better bang for the buck.
yeh, your boot time will be 1 (ONE) second higher than III gen ssd's, no biggie to me. ;)
 
Call Apple and see if you can upgrade the HDD to the SSD. If you purchased your system recently, they may do that, and considering that the 120GB Toshiba SSD Apple uses is only a $100 USD upgrade, it is by far the best value of any SSD available.
