the Shumuri and Veil seem to be very similar

any noticeable difference between these 2 ?

i'm not especially looking for the thinnest as i also want my case to compensate partially the thickness of the camera

but also durable quality and no material covering the round edges of the screen to keep the smooth gestures

They're very similar. Differences are that Shumuri covers the bottom as well while the Caudabe doesn't. But the Shumuri is more expensive, ships from China and not sure what their replacement policy is. Caudabe is based in the US and the Veil ships from here, is a little cheaper and they are in my own experience quite generous with their replacements.

If you need protection and you don't have to have the thinnest, then neither of these cases is for you.

Shurmuri covers the whole phone, the veil doesn't cover the bottom. Shurmuri ships from China, Veil is from US. Cant comment on any quality differences as i haven't made a decision on which to order yet.

i bought this cheapo case from Ebay..supposedly the thinnest case at .3mm.. should arrive in a couple days.

You, sir, made a wise choice.

On a lark, I picked this same case in two colors up on Nathan Road in Hong Kong last weekend, been using it back here in the States ever since. It's amazingly thin and crystal clear, looks like I've got nothing on it at all. Has a slight lip on the front screen, nice protections and openings on the bottom.

I'm a huge Spigen fan, bought the Neo Hybrid and was ready to make it my everyday case, but this $5 TPU clear case just won't quit. No matter how hard I try, I can't get over how thin it is yet protective and how much better grip traction I get. And it must be 1/5th of an inch thinner all around than the Spigen, lower too, really makes the Spigen feel huge.

Anyhow, as someone with iPhone Case ADD I can tell you quite assuredly that this $5 bad boy is terrific; the downside is that once you put it on you'll never want to go to another case again.

I can since I have the Shumuri and had The Veil for my 5S. No difference. They're both the same in quality as well as material.

ok thanks

well i guess that shipping from the US doesn't prevent from being manufactured in China as usual

i'll probably go for the shumuri then

my only concern is about the case keeping the formfactor on long term

How's the lip on it?

I know it's not as thin as the discussion here has been floating, but I'm still going with my OctoArmor case. it's pretty similar to the Spigen case, but it's a lot cheaper. It is a little rough around the edges, but it gives it a nice bit of traction, should I toss it somewhere. It's a pretty nice case for $5.

I am trying to find the best case (~.05mm or so) that actually has a little grip....anyone?

They are all the same f@@king **** guys lol, all made in China. You can buy a Spigen or what ever on ebay for $0.99 cents, it just won't have the Spigen logo. lol

Does this case protect the camera lens at all?

IMG_7451.jpg

Sort of. The TPU is lower than the full lens but covers it up to about 90% of the way.

I have not found any issue with the iPhone rocking on a table or scratching anything, it's not that far off.

You have a link to where I can buy it or is that eBay link above the exact one ?

oh that looks nice but I wonder if will get yellow over time.

Slim cases and buffer film

I have a Moshi case on my 5 but they don't seem to have one yet for the 6.
Anyone know where I can find a similar case for the 6. What I liked about my current case is that it came with a protective film that you put under the case and stick to your phone and that it was easily removable to clean the phone, because no matter which case you have, something will get in there and scratch the back or sides of your phone (dirt and stuff usually gets in through the camera hole)

Hey Max, our 6 cases will begin to be available this week! You can find out more here: http://moshi.us/the6series. While the new cases don't come with a backside buffer film, they're made a from a more pliable material that preserves the inside and outside of your phone.

It's the exact one. Found here:

I can tell by the cutout design for the bottom ports.

It's $5.

So I bought 4 of them, will change them out every 6 months, still costs less than a comparable single TPU case from one of the name brands.
