Don't have a problem with Apples rules, but they need to be applied consistently, not in the current random 'just got out the wrong side of bed' method
... a number of the removed apps are returning to the App Store after their developers removed NSFW toggles from the apps. Rather than an app-based toggle, apps are now required to rely on the user's Reddit preferences for filtering out NSFW content.
Apple seems to be worried that a specific app that features preferences that blatantly identify the app as being able to view NSFW content would be abused as a medium to solely view NSFW content. As far as I'm concerned, Apple needs to relax.
Only with significant amount of restrictions on what can be shown (or even written) in such apps - with wonderful rules like 'not a single pubic hair must be visible'.They let all the gay bondage and hookup apps on the store.
And Apple could equally impose their own rating system or just partner with IARC and get ratings for each different organisation. Google Play does that and you can see in the US/Canada that all applications are given an ESRB rating. The difference is that console video games have age restrictions, which are reviewed by organisations such as PEGI.
I hate when people post useless comments like this. What, you should always accept things as they are or just ignore them? That kind of attitude has lots to do with the state of the world today! If some of you don't like what Apple does move on
some app corrupted their precious snowflake by letting them know that the NSFW content existed
