Wait, how can you not love 24? or West Wing or The Sopranos.

I would like to add, Mcgyver, Full House, Perfect Strangers, The Cosby Show, Newhart, Coach, and Whos The Boss.
Honorable mention goes to Saved By The Bell.:p

golly, don't forget Small Wonder, Punky Brewster and My Two Dads :p

Here's the correct list:

1) Blackadder
2) Fawlty Towers
3) Only Fools and Horses
4) Bottom

and tons of other British shows.

That list is awful.

While Seinfeld may not be #1 it really should be in the top 3 at least. And Spaced, The X-Files, The Wire, Friends, 24, Lost, The West Wing, The Sopranos and Buffy the Vampire Slayer ahead of it at all are all wrong. I guess people will argue for Friends, but I've always thought that show was tripe.

Also, Quantum Leap, Prison Break, Veronica Mars, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Sex and the City, Farscape, Band of Brothers, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Alias, Six Feet Under, Futurama, Twin Peaks, The Office (British version [at the very least getting a mention and without one of the US spinoff that is hugely popular and running into season 5]), The Shield, Angel, Scrubs, Heroes... how did these even make a top 50 list?

I do like the nod to Dexter, though. I love that show, should definitely be higher on the list.

Because they're all award-winning, and in some cases, ground-breaking shows?

Actually, I meant to not include Curb Your Enthusiasm and Twin Peaks. I never cared for the latter, but, like you said: award winning, ground-breaking, blah blah blah.

But Six Feet Under? lol. Garbage.

When you've penned or produced a show that's won over 40 awards worldwide, including three Golden Globes, I might then pay some credence to your opinion. Lol indeed.

Have you?

Or is it just mod opinion negates my opinion day?

No love for the X-Files in this thread? *sob* The production values of that show were excellent. It was like watching a short big-budget movie every time. I love that show.
